Set career bests in doubles (15), runs scored (49) and RBI (34) in his sixth season with SF...appeared in 125 games, the second-highest total of his career behind last season’s 129 games...Had two trips to the IL that saw him miss 25 games (left wrist inflammation from May 23-June 2 and a left hand sprain from Sept. 4-14 that was caused by dislocating his pinky finger when sliding in second base on Aug. 30 vs. SD)...Made his third career Opening Day roster...Recorded his first career walk-off hit and RBI on Opening Day, April 7 vs. Miami, hitting a double down the left field line in the 10th inning to score Darin Ruf from first base...Hit his third career leadoff homer on June 12 off LA’s Julio Urías...Went 12-for-13 in stolen base attempts and is 43-for47 in his career (91.5%)...Posted an .844 OPS in 61 road games...had a .713 OPS in 64 home games...Finished the season 10-for-30 (.333) with 11 walks, .545 OBP and 1.045 OPS as a pinch-hitter...his .545 OBP as a pinch-hitter ranked as the best figure in the Majors.

2021

Established career highs in games played (129) , runs (39), doubles (12), homers (12), RBI (32), stolen bases (15) and walks (28)...Hit .284 with 10 of his 12 homers and an .894 OPS off LHPs compared to .171 with two HRs and a .497 OPS vs. RHPs...Led the team with 15 stolen bases...over his career he has a 91.2% stolen base success rate (31 SB/3 CS)...His 15 stolen bases were most by a Giant since 2017, when Eduardo Núñez stole 18 bases... Finished the season strong, going 12-for-27 (.444) with two doubles, three homers, 6 RBI and three steals over his final 12 games...Batted .278 with six homers and a .950 OPS coming off the bench...more specifically, he was 11x38 (.289) as a pinch-hitter with four HRs and 13 RBI...Played all three OF spots but saw a majority of his time in CF...Missed seven days from Sept. 5-12 while on the 7-day concussion list after colliding with the wall on September 4 vs. LAD.

Finished his fourth season in the big leagues...Batted .282 with five homers and seven RBI in 31 games...Started 23 games, making 13 starts as the DH, eight starts in right field and two starts in left field...Appeared as the DH in his final 13 games as a flexor strain in his right elbow prevented him from playing the OF...His .316 batting average against left-handed pitching was the 16th-highest mark in the NL...Left the game on July 25 at Dodger Stadium in the 8th inning after making a diving catch and crashing into the LF wall...suffered a right hip contusion...Recorded his first career multi-HR game on Aug. 8 at Dodger Stadium, hitting both homers off LHP Clayton Kershaw...became just the seventh player to homer twice off Kershaw in the same game, joining WAS’s Adam Dunn (08/06/2010), COL’s Carlos Gonzalez (05/02/2012), WAS’s Jayson Werth (07/21/2013), CIN’s Jay Bruce (09/08/2013), NYM’s Jose Reyes (06/19/2017) and TOR’s Bo Bichette (08/20/2019)...Scratched from the lineup Aug. 12 at Houston with right elbow soreness...was diagnosed with a right elbow flexor strain...pinch ran in the 10th inning on Aug. 14 vs. Oakland and was back in the starting lineup Aug. 15, leading off as the DH...Left his start on Aug. 21 vs. Arizona with a mild left groin strain...suffered the injury while running from second to third on a base hit...was placed on the 10-day IL the next day (Aug. 22) with the injury and missed 11 games before being reinstated on Sept. 5...Hit his first career leadoff home run on Sept. 22 vs. Colorado...His five home runs matched his career-best from last season while his eight steals were a career-high.  

2019

Recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on July 1 and remained with SF for the duration of the season.... Batted .302 (32-for-106) with eight doubles, three triples and four homers through his first 40 games with SF after being recalled...went 8-for-61 (.131) with two extra-base hits over his last 27 games.... Appeared in eight games at first base, one game at second, two in left field and 46 in right field with SF.... Hit his first career grand slam on July 6 vs. St. Louis, a pinch-hit shot off RHP Miles Mikolas in the 4th inning...also marked his first career pinch-hit home run...became the first Giant with a pinch-hit grand slam since Rich Aurilia did it June 12, 2003 at Chicago-AL...Slater's was the 22nd pinch-hit grand slam in SF-era history.... Hit a two-run homer in his very first plate appearance at Wrigley Field on August 20 off LHP Cole Hamels...became the first Giant to hit a homer in his first career plate appearance at Wrigley since Guy Sularz did it on August 24, 1982 (Elias).... Hit .308 (74-for-240) with 47 runs scored, 17 doubles, 12 home runs and 45 RBI in 70 games for Triple-A.

2018

Had four stints with SF (April 27, April 28-May 1, May 14, and June 23 through the end of the season)...Played in a career-best 74 games...set career-highs in doubles (six), RBI (23) and stolen bases (seven)...Was 1-for-15 (.067) as a pinch-hitter...Batted .274 with runners in scoring position and .370 with RISP and two outs...According to Fangraphs, his 3.90 GB/FB (groundball to fly ball rate) was the highest in the Majors (min. 200 PA)...his 63.1% groundball rate was the highest in Majors while his 16.2% fly ball rate was the lowest (min. 200 PA)...Hit .344 with 24 doubles, five home runs, 32 RBI, 32 runs scored and a .981 OPS in 53 games for Sacramento.

2017

Hit .282 (33-for-117) in 34 games with SF, starting 32 games (29 in left, three in right)...Had his contract purchased from triple-A Sacramento on June 2...Was in the starting lineup June 2 at Philadelphia, starting in right fi eld and recording his first Major League hit off LHP Joely Rodriguez, a single in the 6th inning...Became the fi rst Giants rookie to hit .400 or better in his fi rst 10 career games since Pablo Sandoval hit .417 (15-for-36) in 2008 (min. 30 PAs)...Slater went 15-for-37 (.405) in his fi rst 10 games with the Giants...Played his first professional inning at third base on June 15 at Colorado...moved from left fi eld to third in the 7th inning after Eduardo Nunez left the game in the top half after injuring his hamstring...Recorded a career-best four hits on June 15 at Colorado and had 12 hits in a fi ve-game span from June 10-15...Missed 52 games with a right groin strain... suffered the injury on July 7 while running down the first base line...a MRI exam showed a torn adductor muscle, but Slater was told it was heal without surgery after eight to 10 weeks...Returned from his rehab assignment and was reinstated from the 10-day DL on Sept. 4...Had core muscle surgery on Sept. 28 performed by Dr. Myers...Hit .321 (59-for-184) with 12 doubles, five home runs and 27 RBI in 50 games with triple-A Sacramento.

2016

Started the season with double-A Richmond and hit .317 (46-for-145) with 14 extra base hits, 24 walks and 25 RBI over 41 games...Was promoted to triple-A in early June and appeared in 68 games for the River Cats, batting .298 (73-for-245) with 13 home runs and 42 RBI...Hit .412 (28-for-68) with 6 home runs and 14 RBI off lefties, compared to a .254 (45-for-177) average against righties while with Sacramento...Was named PCL Player of the Month in August after hitting .381 (43-for-113) and leading the league in total bases (77) and home runs (nine), ranking second in hits (43), on-base percentage (.444) and OPS (1.126) and third in RBI (26), extra-base hits (16) and slugging (.681)...he also posted 14 multi-hit games in August, including a stretch of four consecutive games with three or more hits.

2015

Split the season between single-A San Jose and double-A Richmond, combining to hit .294 (132- for-449) with 46 runs scored, 26 doubles and 47 RBI.

2014

Appeared in two games for the Arizona Rookie Giants and went 3-for-9 with a triple and two RBI before being transfered to Salem-Keizer...hit .417 (41-for-118) with 23 RBI in 29 games for the Volcanoes.
