On June 30 at WSH, made his first career start and yielded a 2-out, 2-run single to Josh Bell in the 1st inning before pitching a scoreless second… recorded his first career hit, a second-inning single off five-time All-Star Jon Lester... On Sep 14 at TOR, pitched five scoreless innings, silencing an offense that had scored 52 runs in their previous four games and 109 runs in their previous 12 games…it marked the second scoreless start of his career, following Aug 17 vs. BAL (4 IP)... POSTSEASON: Took no-decision in Game 3 of the ALDS at BOS, his first career postseason start… allowed 3 runs in 2 IP, including a leadoff homer to Kyle Schwarber…replaced after allowing three straight singles to begin the third inning.

Enters the 2020 season as the 10th-best prospect in the organization according to Baseball America...In his first professional season held opponents to a .216 batting average with 96 strikeouts in 74.1 innings as he appeared in 27 games (23 starts) between Class-A Wisconsin (1gs), Class-A Carolina (4gs) and Double-A Biloxi (22g/18gs)...His professional debut came at Miller Park in a start with Class-A Wisconsin on 4/12/19 vs. Quad Cities (2ip, 1h, 0r, 0bb, 3k).

Missed the entire 2018 season as he recovered from his second "Tommy John" surgery.....underwent the surgery on 8/23/17, performed by Dr. Keith Meister.....his first surgery took place on 3/29/16, performed by Dr. Luis Vela.
