SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT AND GENERAL COUNSEL
Drew Frick was named Senior Vice President and General Counsel of the Tampa Bay Rays in July 2026. A native of Orange Park, Fla., Frick had most recently served as Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Development for the Jacksonville Jaguars since March 2022.
In his time with the Jaguars, he led the organization’s plans to revitalize Downtown Jacksonville, including the Miller Electric Sports Performance Center, the Four Seasons Hotel & Residences, and the Jacksonville Shipyards. Working closely with the team and ownership, Frick strategically constructed the first real estate department in team history and brought several transformative projects from blueprint to build, including the Jaguars’ business headquarters, One Tower Court.
Prior to working with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Frick served as president of GATE Lands, the real estate and development subsidiary of GATE Petroleum Company, where he also acted as vice president and general counsel. He began his career as an associate at Rogers Towers, P.A. and focused on both land use and administrative law.
Frick earned his bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Georgia School of Law. He is also a member of The Florida Bar and has been admitted to practice law in Florida since 2000. Frick and his wife, Andrea, have two daughters, Ellie and Katie.
