Sam Dankoff
CHIEF OF STAFF & OWNERSHIP RELATIONS
Sam Dankoff joined the Rays in October 2025 as chief of staff and ownership relations, supporting strategic initiatives across the organization as well as managing key relationships and engagement with ownership. Prior to joining the Rays, he held leadership roles with the Double-A Akron RubberDucks most recently serving as the club’s assistant general manager/vice president, premium experience. A native of Akron, Ohio and graduate of the University of Akron, Sam is a past Crain’s Cleveland Business 20 in Their 20s award winner and is a graduate of Leadership Akron Signature Class 35. He and his wife, Christina, reside in Tampa with their daughter, Nora, and two Goldendoodles, Piper and Sully.
