2025 Stats
Concessions
- Coors Field has refillable water stations throughout the Ballpark, and you can bring your own reusable water bottle to fill up!
- In 2025, Coors Field transitioned to recyclable Ball aluminum cups, replacing single-use plastic and paper cups.
- In 2024, by partnering with FiltaFry, the Rockies saved over 141,530 pounds of cooking oil and recycled another 20,752 pounds of cooking oil. This reduction in environmental impact is equivalent to planting 4,532 trees.
- The Coors Field Garden was the first ballpark garden in Major League Baseball. It helps promote sustainable food sourcing and its’ produce is used inside the ballpark.
- Coors Field expanded its composting program in 2025 to include fan-facing composting in suites and clubs.
- In the 2026 season, the Rockies are partnering with We Don’t Waste to recover and donate leftover food.
Coors Field Waste Diversion
- The Rockies increased their waste diversion by 10% in 2025 from 2024.
- In 2025, we recycled over 45 tons of aluminum, plastic, and glass, enough to produce 3,000 large mountain bikes.
- The Rockies recycled over 125 tons of cardboard in 2025.
- The Rockies have a composting program for grass clippings, food waste, and much more. In 2025 we composted over 118 tons of food waste and over 112 tons of sod from a field replacement.
Energy
- Coors Field has 16 electric vehicle charging stations in the main parking garage.
- In 2025 we replaced The Rockies replaced their chillers with more energy-efficient models in the 2025 off-season.
- The sports lights were changed to LED fixtures for the 2019 season. The new LED fixtures use 378,972 kWh of energy compared to 766,656 kWh – a savings of 387,684 kWh, enough to power 53 US homes for a year.
- In 2020, the original boilers for the stadium were changed to new energy efficient boilers, which resulted in a savings of 4,952 MBtu/month in peak heating per month.
- Coors Field has solar panels above the fountain in Centerfield, as well as above the parking garage.
- The ballpark’s field heating system changed from electric to hydro in 2019, resulting in energy savings and a reduced environmental impact.
