RSVP Grant Application

Thank you for your interest in applying to receive a grant from Royals Charities, the charitable foundation of the Kansas City Royals. Royals Charities is proud to partner with Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas City to provide Title 1 Elementary Schools with a bus grant to attend the Royals Scholastic Victory Program. The ticket fee is waived for schools receiving the grant.

The form must be submitted by October 31, 2023 to qualify for the 2023-2024 school year. Qualified schools may select a date between September 8, 2023 - February 19, 2024.

Mission: The purpose of the Royals Scholastic Victory Program is to reinforce concepts learned in the classroom with curriculum-based activities.

To qualify for funding consideration, your organization must:

• Be a public school in the greater Kansas City area. Schools in the following counties will receive preference:
  • Clay, Jackson, or Platte (MO)
  • Johnson or Wyandotte (KS)
  • Please note: Schools outside of the above counties may still apply
• Provide proof of Title I status and/or lack of funding (i.e. discounted lunch program)
• Provide a Bus Budget
• Provide a description of how the Royals Scholastic Victory Program can enhance and/or reinforce your school-based curriculum
• NEW: School MUST submit the bus invoice within 90 days of the field trip for reimbursement. Schools that do not submit an invoice will not qualify for the bus grant the following school year.
