Royals Weather Updates

The Royals have a detailed weather safety plan in place that is reviewed every season. Every usher at Kauffman Stadium is trained to move fans to safety at a moment's notice. In the event of severe weather near The K, fans will be instructed to move to safe areas by ushers, public address announcements and instructions on the CrownVision scoreboard. The Royals consider the safety of our fans a first priority and monitor conditions continuously during all games and other events.

Ticket Policy for Rescheduling of April 3 game vs. Milwaukee Brewers

The April 3rd game vs. the Milwaukee Brewers has been postponed and is rescheduled for Saturday, April 4 at 6:10 pm CT as Game 2 of a split-admission doubleheader. Game 1 will begin at 1:10 pm CT with Game 2 scheduled for 6:10 pm CT. Separate tickets will be needed if you are attending both games.

Tickets for the Friday, April 3 game will automatically be valid for Game 2 on Saturday, April 4 at 6:10 pm CT. Fans do not have to exchange their original tickets if they elect to attend the rescheduled game. Join us in honoring all players who took part in the 2026 World Baseball Classic ahead of the 6:10 p.m game and make sure you stay after the game to experience Fireworks at The K presented Price Chopper and Oreo.

The game originally scheduled on April 4 at 3:10 pm CT has now been moved to 1:10 pm CT as part of Game 1 of the split-admission doubleheader.

• Single-game and mini-plan tickets purchased directly from the Kansas City Royals for the April 3 and April 4 games can exchange their tickets by going to www.royals.com/mytickets and logging with their MLB.com account.

• After logging in, click the Exchange link on the left-hand side of the page

• Select your tickets for the April 3rd game, and follow the necessary steps

• You can exchange multiple tickets within the same order at one time

• Fans can utilize the value of their ticket (paid amount) towards any future Royals regular season game (excluding 5/25-5/27, 6/18-6/21, 7/4, 8/7-8/9) in 2026.

• Please allow up to 2 hours after the postponement announcement for exchanges to be available online.

• Refunds are not available for fans who elect to apply the paid value of their ticket to a lesser priced game or seating area. Fans who apply the value of their tickets for a higher priced game or seating area will be responsible for paying any resulting balance. 

• All exchanges must be completed by first pitch of each respective rescheduled game on April 4.

• April 3, 6:45 pm CT tickets must be exchanged by April 4, 6:10 pm CT.

• April 4, 3:10 pm CT tickets must be exchanged by 1:10 pm CT.

• Tickets can only be exchanged by the account holder on record as determined by the Royals.  

• IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to discounts offered for the purchase of some tickets, the amount paid for the ticket, and thus the value of your ticket, may be different than the price printed on the ticket. 

• Season Ticket Members with a traditional Full, Half, or Partial ticket package must use the Live Ticket Exchange Program through their My Royals Tickets account. For more information, click here.

• All Complimentary, Commissioner Initiative, and Fountain Pass tickets cannot be exchanged and are valid for the rescheduled game only. 

• Tickets for suites, groups, and other special areas are valid for the rescheduled game. If you are not attending the rescheduled game, purchasers must contact their sales representative to exchange tickets to a mutually agreed upon game. Ticket exchanges will not be available after the first pitch of the rescheduled game.  

• Fans who purchased tickets on secondary market exchanges such as SeatGeek, StubHub, Tickets for Less, or any other secondary market must contact the customer service staff for that business. 

• Tickets and parking for the postponed game are not subject to refunds. Ticket exchanges will not be available after first pitch of the rescheduled game and are subject to availability.
