The Detroit Tigers selected Meadows in the second round of the 2018 MLB Draft... in the lead-up to and following the 2019 season, he was listed among the top 12 Tigers prospects in the organization by various outlets, including a ranking as high as ninth.

2025

Appeared in 58 games with the Tigers, slashing .215/.291/.330 with six doubles, two triples, four home runs and 16 RBI...Placed on the IL with a right quad strain on July 28...returned Sept. 5 and hit a two-run home run on the first pitch he saw...Hit his first home run of the year on June 12 at Baltimore, a three-run shot that eventually became the difference in the game...Started the season on the injured list with right upper arm inflammation...returned to action with the Tigers on June 2 against the Chicago White Sox, going 2-for-4 with a double, triple, two walks and a stolen base in his first game back.

2024

Appeared in 82 games for the Tigers, slashing .244/.310/.433 with 12 doubles, six triples, nine homers and 28 RBI...also played in 51 games with Triple-A Toledo, batting .292/.388/.495 with 11 doubles, three triples, eight homers and 25 RBI...Hit a go-ahead grand slam in the ninth inning on Sept. 5 at San Diego...the first Tigers go-ahead grand slam when trailing with two strikes and two outs in the ninth came since June 21, 1988, vs. New York (AL) when Alan Trammell hit a grand slam off Cecilio Guante...it was just the second grand slam by a team on the road, down by three and an out away from being shut out since Ted Williams did so on Aug. 27, 1955 vs. Detroit...the homer came on a 100.7 MPH fastball, the fastest pitch a Tigers batter has hit for a home run in the Statcast Era...Hit safely in all of Detroit’s seven postseason games, matching a franchise record for longest hitting streak to begin a postseason career, equaling Charlie Gehringer’s seven-game stretch from Oct. 3-9, 1934.

2023

Saw his first Major League action in 2023, appearing in 37 games with the Tigers...also played in 113 games with Triple A Toledo... Posted a 16-game hitting streak with Toledo from June 9-28, slashing .370/.390/.658 with eight doubles, two triples, three home runs and 10 RBI... Made his Major League debut on Aug. 21 vs. Chicago (NL)...started in center field and singled in the sixth inning for his first big league hit off Javier Assad... Launched a walk-off, three-run home run in the ninth inning on Aug. 25 vs. Houston...was his first Major League homer and the first RBI of his big league career...became the first Tiger to hit a walk-off blast for his first Major League home run since Riley Greene did so on July 2, 2022 vs. Kansas City... according to Stats Perform, Meadows became the only MLB player to have a walk-off, three-run homer or grand slam in the bottom of the ninth for his first career RBI since RBI became an official stat in 1920... Became the third Tigers player in franchise history to have at least three extra-base hits and four walks through his first five games, joining Barney McCosky (April 18-23, 1939) and Kid Elberfeld (April 25-30, 1901)... Posted his first career three-hit game on Aug. 29 vs. New York (AL), finishing the game 3-for-4 with two RBI...also had a three-hit game on Sept. 28 vs. Kansas City.

2022

Spent most of the 2022 season with Double A Erie, playing in 113 games with the SeaWolves....Named to the Eastern League postseason All-Star Team and was selected a Tigers Organization All-Star by MiLB.com....Ranked tied for fourth in the EL with six triples, while he was fifth with a .275 (117x425) batting average, eighth with a .354 on-base percentage, tied for eighth with an .820 OPS, tied for ninth with 117 hits and tied for 10th with 198 total bases....Began the season with Single A West Michigan and earned Midwest League Player of the Week honors for the week ending April 17, slashing .296/.321/.741 with four doubles, one triple, two home runs and three RBI. ...Hit safely in 10 straight games from June 4-16, going 12x32 with a double, two triples, two home runs and four RBI....Voted Tigers Minor League Player of the Month for August, hitting .290/.370/.600 with five doubles, one triple, eight home runs and 15 RBI in 27 games. Went 6-for-20 with a double, a home run and two RBI in five games during the EL playoffs....Played for Salt River in the Arizona Fall League, hitting .224/.303/.433 with three doubles, one triple, three home runs and seven RBI in 24 games....Ranked as the No. 12 prospect in the Tigers organization by Baseball America following the season...also rated as the best athlete and the best defensive outfielder in the Tigers system.
