Twins place Bartlett on disabled list
Recall Herrmann from Triple-A Rochester
Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN - The Minnesota Twins announced today that they have placed infielder/outfielder Jason Bartlett on the disabled list with a left ankle sprain. He suffered the injury yesterday in Cleveland during the sixth inning.
To replace Bartlett on the 25-man roster, the Twins have recalled catcher/outfielder Chris Herrmann from Triple-A Rochester. Herrmann, who appeared in two games for the Red Wings to start the season, hit .412 (7-for-17) in 14 Spring Training games with the Twins.
