White Sox honor Chicago Police and Fire Departments with special ticket offer for select 2024 home games
Organization Tips Cap to Local First Responders with Two Complimentary Tickets to Select Sox Home Games
CHICAGO – The Chicago White Sox are tipping a cap to active members of the Chicago Fire and Police Departments, offering two complimentary tickets to more than one dozen home games throughout the 2024 baseball season.
Expressing gratitude for their service to the community, Chicago firefighters and police officers are invited to claim their two tickets starting Thursday, April 18 through Friday, June 14 at the Guaranteed Rate Field Gate 4 Box Office. Ticket windows accommodating this offer are open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on non-game days. Individuals are required to show a valid photo ID, their department identification and a badge to claim tickets.
The offer includes the following games:
- Sunday, April 28 vs. Tampa Bay at 1:10 p.m. – Coke Zero Sugar Family Sundays
- Friday, May 10 vs. Cleveland at 6:40 p.m. – Postgame Fireworks
- Sunday, May 12 vs. Cleveland at 1:10 p.m. – Coke Zero Sugar Family Sundays
- Thursday, May 23 vs. Baltimore at 6:40 p.m.
- Wednesday, May 29 vs. Toronto at 6:40 p.m.
- Thursday, June 6 vs. Boston at 7:10 p.m.
- Wednesday, June 19 vs. Houston at 7:10 p.m.
- Saturday, June 29 vs. Colorado at 1:10 p.m. – Southside Basketball Jersey, presented by RUSH (first 20,000 fans who enter the ballpark)
- Monday, July 8 vs. Minnesota at 7:10 p.m. – Southside Monday, presented by United Airlines
- Sunday, July 14 vs. Pittsburgh at 1:10 p.m. – Coke Zero Sugar Family Sundays
- Saturday, July 27 vs. Seattle at 6:15 p.m. – White Sox Short Sleeve Hoodie, presented by Coca-Cola Zero Sugar (first 20,000 fans who enter the ballpark)
- Wednesday, July 31 vs. Kansas City at 1:10 p.m.
- Tuesday, September 10 vs. Cleveland at 6:40 p.m. – $5 Tuesday
- Friday, September 13 vs. Oakland at 6:40 p.m. – Hispanic Heritage Night and La Pantera Alebrije Bobblehead, presented by Modelo, and Postgame Fireworks
- Thursday, September 26 vs. Los Angeles Angels at 1:10 p.m.
Over more than a decade, the White Sox have provided the city’s first responders with nearly 125,000 game tickets, including more than 1,600 tickets in 2023, in an effort to honor their bravery, commitment to others and selfless service in the community.
Tickets are subject to availability. A Patio pass add-on is available for an additional $25, and prepaid parking can be purchased for $27 at whitesox.com/parking.
The Box Office at Guaranteed Rate Field is open to fans on non-gamedays, Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For all White Sox home games, the Box Office opens at 9 a.m. and closes two hours following the scheduled game start time.
