What is A's Cast?
A's Cast is the Oakland Athletics 24/7 free streaming audio channel. The streaming audio channel is only available online and can be accessed from most locations in the Bay Area. The service is always free and includes live games, pre and postgame content and numerous original A's programming options.
How do I access A's Cast?
A's Cast is available for free by visiting athletics.com/ascast on your mobile device's website browser, a desktop computer, Kindle, iPad or other mobile device and clicking "listen now" to launch the web player audio of the game. There is no sign-up required. Additionally, you can access A's Cast on streaming devices, wearables, smart speakers, gaming devices and more.

What app can I access the games on?

How much does Aās Cast cost?

I am inside the streaming territory and am getting an error message. Why?
In order for Aās Cast to work, you must have location services turned on. This is a setting within your mobile phone or desktop device. Follow instructions on your deviceās settings to enable location services. This setting is easy to change and generally can be accessed within your device settings control panel. It can be turned off if you so choose when youāre not actively listening to Aās Cast. Just remember to turn it on each time you listen.
I have location services enabled, I am inside the streaming territory and I am getting an error. Why?
Your mobile device or laptop may think you are still outside the streaming territory. Visit an IP (device) location website tracker like whatismyipaddress.com to find out where your IP location is generating from. If your signal is still generating from outside the Aās streaming territory, make sure you enable location services. If you still experience challenges, contact your internet service provider (e.g. Comcast, Verizon, etc.).
The stream keeps buffering and pausing, why?
Aās Cast requires an internet connection, just like other streaming services. Connect to WiFi whenever possible for maximum clarity.
Can I listen to the stream in the ballpark?
Aās Cast requires an internet connection to properly stream the feed. Be sure to connect to the Aās WiFi when accessing the feed in-ballpark.
How do I connect to the stream in my car if I donāt have it built into my car?
You can stream the audio service right from your phone into your car speakers. Connect to your carās audio system by either plugging in your mobile device to the car's USB port with a USB cable, or, connect via Bluetooth. If you are having issues playing the live stream, please consult your vehicle ownerās manual for tips on connecting mobile devices to the car stereo/speaker system. You can always put your phone on speaker mode and increase the volume to hear the broadcast in your car.
Is a data plan required to stream the game?
Please consult your wireless carrierās plan to understand how data is used for streaming consumption.
Will you have minor league content?
Yes. Las Vegas Aviators, Midland Rock Hounds, and Stockton Ports games all appear on Aās Cast.

Outside Aās Streaming Territory
Why canāt I access live Aās games on Aās Cast outside of the streaming territory?
Due to Major League Baseball restrictions, the Aās are unable to offer live Aās Cast content (games, pre- and post-game shows, and any live streaming content) outside the Aās streaming territory (see map above). Fans outside the streaming territory can access Aās original programming and recorded content on-demand at athletics.com/podcast. Fans can access live Aās games (not Aās Cast) whenever you want with MLB Audio.
How do I access live Aās Cast content outside of the streaming territory?
Live Aās Cast content will not play outside the allowed streaming territory. You will receive an error message when trying to access it outside the territory. Fans outside the streaming territory can access on-demand original Aās content at athletics.com/podcast or on your favorite podcast platforms like iTunes and Spotify.
Are there any other additional ways to access Aās live games in Northern California?
Yes, the Aās have 12 stations in our radio affiliate network, stretching across most of Northern California. Visit athletics.com/radio to see the frequency and call letters of each of the stations.
Can I access Aās Cast abroad?
