10-DAY/15-DAY INJURED LIST

SS (strained left hamstring)
Expected return: Mid-to-late June
Turner injured his hamstring while scoring from second base on a passed ball in the Phillies' May 3 game against the Giants. He said the following day that he expects to miss at least six weeks.

This is Turner's first non-COVID IL stint since 2019, when he missed six weeks with a broken right index finger. His only other IL stints came in 2017, when he missed two months with a fractured right wrist and 12 days with a strained right hamstring, though this one is far more severe than that injury. It cropped up again in his last appearance a few days later against the Angels in Anaheim. (Last updated: May 8)

He started to feel something in the shoulder following a couple rehab appearances with Single-A Clearwater.

“We don’t think it’s anything, but we’re just taking it easy on him,” manager Rob Thomson said recently. (Last updated: May 8)
