Made the Opening Day roster for the first time, after being acquired on Dec. 14 from Cincinnati, who selected him from Arizona in the Rule 5 Draft...His 3.08 ERA (48 ER in 140.1 IP) was eighth best in the American League (min. 140 IP) and first among AL rookies (min. 100 IP)...
