The Atlanta Braves, Kaiser Permanente and Georgia Power in partnership with The Mayor’s Office of International & Immigrant Affairs – Welcoming Atlanta connect Spanish-speaking communities with essential resources and empower the next generation of Hispanic and Latino children via baseball and softball through Los Bravos Un Equipo. The Spanish phrase "un equipo" translates to "one team" in English, as this program furthers the Atlanta Braves Foundation’s mission to champion the diverse communities and cover the bases for kids across Braves Country as un equipo.
Los Bravos Un Equipo hosts community resource events in four communities, where neighbors can access hot meals, frozen foods & protein, essential medical resources, and additional resources. In the summer, the children from these communities are invited to participate in a baseball and softball clinic to learn the basics of the sport we love.
