On Tuesday, August 11, the first 15,000 fans in attendance of the Braves vs. New York Mets game will receive a 7" vinyl record featuring one of Spencer Strider's favorite Atlanta-area bands: The Echolocations, Siichaq, Tavern Breakfast.
The night will feature not just the vinyl giveaway, but a special performance by all three bands hosted by Spencer at the conclusion of the game on the Georgia Power Pavilion stage in The Battery Atlanta.
The inspiration of this giveaway was born from Spencer’s love of local, independent music, combined with his interest in wanting to put more bands on the forefront of the Atlanta music scene. This is the third year of this unique giveaway, check out the bands from the first two volumes below:
Volume 1: Lunar Vacation, Trash Panda and Dinner Time.
Volume 2: Honeyknife, Bea Porges and Flat Tired.
