Highlighting the impact of the Hispanic and Latino community in Braves Country, the Atlanta Braves host their annual Los Bravos Night presented by Georgia Power. Los Bravos Night proceeds the team’s month-long celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month and is a part of the brand’s year-long activations.
The Atlanta Braves and The Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce partnered to host the fourth annual event, 50 Most Influential Latinos in Georgia event presented by Truist. The event honors the achievements of individuals from different categories within government, media, entertainment, sports, nonprofits, and other business sectors.
In this episode of Detrás del Guante, presented by Truist, our hosts Eddie Pérez and Fernando Piñeres talk to Dominican Braves alumni Pedro Borbón. During the episode Pedro talks about his experience during the 1995 World Series and how he spends his time now in retirement.

To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, the Atlanta Braves has designed digital custom cleats that reflect the players personalities and interests outside of baseball in efforts to educate our fans in Braves Country about who our payers are and where they come from.
Braves alumni Pedro Borbón, Dennis Martinez, and Eduardo Pérez cook their favorite dishes at Battery Atlanta tenant and Puerto-Rican owned business, El Super Pan with Chef Hector.
The Atlanta Braves Foundation contributes to local community organizations that assist the Latino community in the city of Atlanta and the Braves Country. Through the Atlanta Braves charity auction, “Jerseys Off Our Back” program, fans can bid on the game-worn Braves jerseys from Los Bravos Night.
