Phillies and IBX serve Veterans Day lunch at Veterans Multi-Service Center in Old City

Thank you for your service! This Veterans Day, volunteers from the Phillies front office, as well as Independence Blue Cross, took the time to “serve those who served” by hosting lunch at the Veterans Multi-Service Center in Old City.

Special guests came out to support the vets and serve meals, including 1993 National League champions Mickey Morandini and Milt Thompson, as well as the Phillie Phanatic. Plus, several members of the IBX Blue Crew who are part of the iVets associate resource group volunteered.

The Veterans Day service event is a continuation of Phillies and IBX Give Back, a year-long series of monthly volunteer and community engagement initiatives.
