Toyota Phillies Alumni Weekend begins with takeover at Nemours Children's Hospital

It’s that time of year – Phillies legends are back in town for Toyota Phillies Alumni Weekend!

Nine former Phillies were at Nemours Children’s Hospital, Delaware on Thursday afternoon to help bring some much-needed joy to the patients staying at the hospital and their families. The alumni, along with the Phillies Ballgirls and the Phillie Phanatic, attended a party in the Child Life Clubhouse, and visited bedsides on every floor of the building.

Attendees included Wall of Famers Mike Lieberthal, Charlie Manuel and Ed Wade, National League champions Gary “Sarge” Matthews and Mickey Morandini, 2008 World Series champions Carlos Ruiz and Shane Victorino and alumni Tim Gradoville and Aaron Rowand. The former players signed autographs, took pictures and delivered smiles for the youngsters.
