Got married in December 2025 to his wife, Lyric...A card collector throughout his life, he picked the hobby back up during COVID-19 and completed his first Bowman chrome autograph “rainbow” of his own cards in 2025…a Bowman Card is a player’s first official baseball card, printed before their rookie card (which are printed after MLB debut)...known as “chasing the rainbow,” a collector works to acquire all of the different colored Bowman variations from Topps…Bowen is in the process of finishing his first paper rainbow and sapphire rainbow...Initially committed as a two-sport athlete (football, baseball) and signed at Michigan State as a three-star wide receiver recruit in 2018 before being drafted by and signing with the Pirates in 2019.

2025

Spent his 2025 campaign across four levels of PIT's system, including Single-A Bradenton (4 G), High-A Greensboro (2 G), Double-A Altoona (52 G) and Triple-A Indianapolis (36 G)...slashed .272/.353/.449 with 35 of his 88 hits going for extra bases (22 2B, 4 3B, 9 HR), 37 RBI, 39 walks, 20 stolen bases and 47 runs scored…was placed on the seven-day IL and later sent on rehab assignment to Bradenton and Greensboro...Made a splash in his Triple-A debut on Aug. 7 vs. Omaha, homering in his first at-bat in the bottom of the second inning to get the Indians on the board…across 36 games with IND, he averaged .294 (37-for-126) with nine doubles, three triples, three home runs, 17 RBI, 19 walks, seven stolen bases and 20 runs scored...He finished the season on a seven-game hit streak, reaching base safely in 16 of his 30 plate appearances (11 H, 5 BB)...Played primarily across the outfield, spending time at centerfield (33 G), left field (30 G), right field (24 G), DH (6 G) and first base (5 G)…made one error across 209 total chances (.995).

2024

Spent the 2024 season with Double-A Altoona, batting .241 (98-for-407) with 29 extra-base hits (17 2B, 2 3B, 10 HR) and 57 runs scored across 110 games...reached base safely in all 10 games in September, including a six-game hit streak to finish his 2024 campaign…hit .314 (27-for-86) against lefties with an .892 OPS, nine extra-base hits (6 2B, 3 HR), 12 RBI and 12 walks…listed as the No. 21 prospect in the PIT system, his first season listed in the Top 30 bybMLBPipeline.com.

2023

Named a 2023 Organizational All-Star and SAL Post-Season All-Star after splitting the campaign between High-A Greensboro (110 G) and Double-A Altoona (8 G) and setting career highs in home runs (23), RBI (95), stolen bases (26)…led the PIT system in homers and RBI, while finishing second in total runs scored (86)...remains his only 20-20 season…was named an NL Fall-Star in the Arizona Fall League for Salt River after he slashed .290/.355/.500 with five doubles, two triples, four home runs, 19 RBI, nine walks, six stolen base and 14 runs scored across 25 games…finished among the AFL leaders in triples (T-third, 2), total bases (T-fourth, 50), hits (fifth, 29), extra-base hits (T-seventh) and RBI (T-ninth).
