AISLE POLICY

As a courtesy to everyone, from the first inning until end of game, guests are asked to refrain from walking in select aisles on field level in sections 124 ā€“ 125 (foul pole to foul pole). Select Guest Service Representatives will be provided with handheld signs to remind guests to observe this policy.

ALCOHOL

Guests who consume alcohol are expected to do so in a responsible manner and abide by these guidelines.

California liquor regulations prohibit guests from bringing alcoholic beverages into Petco Park. Security officers at every gate will inspect packages, bags and purses to prevent guests from bringing bottles, cans or any other type of liquid containers into Petco Park (with the exception of factory-sealed water bottles that are one (1) liter (32 ounces) or less).

No person may enter Petco Park who is obviously intoxicated.

Guests cannot exit the premises with alcoholic beverages of any kind.

ANIMALS/PETS

Service animals are welcomed at Petco Park. In keeping with U.S. ADA regulations, disabled guests may use either a dog or miniature horse that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for the guest. The work or tasks performed by the service animal must be directly related to the guest's disability. Animals that solely provide emotional support or companionship to a guest will not be permitted inside the ballpark.

On select promotional dates (such as Bark at the Park), a limited number of pets are permitted into certain areas of the ballpark. Exceptions will be made at the discretion and authorization of the San Diego Padres.

When Gallagher Square is open to the public, the City of San Diego enforces the "leash law" as stated in San Diego Municipal Code Ā§63.0102 Use of Public Parks and Beaches Regulated (b)(2).

BABY CHANGING TABLE STATIONS

Baby changing tables are available in all men's, women's and family restrooms throughout Petco Park. For any nursing mothers, you can use the dedicated, private Nursing Lounge on the Terrace Level (Terrace Suite 32), thanks to Sharp Mary Birch.

BAGS/BACKPACKS

For enhanced ballpark security and to expedite the entry process for all of our guests, Petco Park will prohibit bags, with the exception of clutches and purses no larger than 5ā€ X 7ā€, single-compartment clear plastic bags not exceeding 12ā€ X 6ā€ X 12ā€ or infant and medical bags.

BALLPARK EVENTS (PETCO PARK EVENTS)

Petco Park is an ideal location for a variety of special events. To host an event at the ballpark, please call the Petco Park Events Department at 619.795.5025 or email [email protected]. Interested parties may also visit the Petco Park Events website at petcoparkevents.com for additional information.

BALLPARK SECURITY COMMAND CENTER (24/7 SECURITY)

The Ballpark Security Command Center is located on the Service Level near the loading docks and monitors Petco Park on a 24-hour, 365-day basis.

BANNERS AND SIGNS

The San Diego Padres welcome and encourage fan support including homemade signs and banners. To ensure that these articles do not distract others, we ask that guests adhere to the following guidelines:

Banners not be placed in the direct sight line of the batter and/or hung in any area of the playing field or over seat backs, protective railings, infringe on the sight lines of other guests, obstruct any advertising signage or video ribbon boards, be larger than four (4) feet by eight (8) feet in size, or be commercial, political, or obscene in nature.

The Padres have sole discretion to permit or remove any sign or banner from the ballpark at any time.

BEACH BALLS

Inflatable items (such as baseballs, bats, beach balls, dolls, etc.), frisbees, and other similar objects are prohibited inside Petco Park. Please refer to Prohibited Items below for a complete listing of items not allowed in the ballpark.

BIKE VALET PROGRAM (SUNDAYS)

New for the 2023 season, weā€™re offering a free bike valet service for Sunday Padres games at Petco Park. Bicyclists can drop off their bikes outside the Balboa Gate beginning the time gates open and can pick up their bikes within 30 minutes after the last out.

BOTTLES/CANS/OUTSIDE BEVERAGES

Factory-sealed plastic bottled water that is still, clear and unflavored and that is one (1) liter (32 ounces) or less, and soft-sided single juice or milk containers or ADA required liquids in a sealed container are permitted into Petco Park. Guests with disabilities may bring factory-sealed plastic or paper containers that contain liquids required for medical reasons into the ballpark.

BOX OFFICE

The Main Box Office located on Park Blvd. at Petco Park is open on non-gamedays, Monday -Friday 10:00 AM ā€“ 5:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday closed. On gamedays, the Box Office opens at 10:00 AM and remains open until the conclusion of the 6th inning of each game. Hours are subject to change on holidays.

BUS SERVICE

Parking for private charter buses is extremely limited and must be requested at least 14 days prior to the game. Please contact your Sales Representative for more information.

CAMERAS

Guests are welcome to bring non-professional still cameras and video cameras into Petco Park for their personal use provided the lenses are no longer than 6" long and no extra detachable lenses. Guests must avoid obstructing the views of others when using photography equipment. The San Diego Padres reserve the right to request that guests discontinue filming or taking photographs on ballpark property.

Please note that special events taking place at Petco Park may require different policies.

CASHLESS VENUE

Petco Park is a cashless venue. Credit cards, Padres Pay and other forms of digital payment will be accepted at all concession and retail locations. Padres Pay is safe, fast, and easy! Make purchases with Padres Pay via the Ballpark App at concessions and retail spaces throughout the ballpark. Reverse ATMs are also available to turn cash into pre-paid cards near sections 104, 135, 208, 303 and the Ticket Office Lobby. These cards can be used for purchases both inside and outside of Petco Park.

CHEWING TOBACCO

The use of chewing tobacco or smokeless tobacco by guests is prohibited in Petco Park.

CHILDREN

Petco Park offers complimentary admission to children under 36 inches in height, provided they are accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. These children must sit in the lap of the accompanying adult and not occupy an additional seat.

COMPUTERS (LAPTOPS)

Laptop computers and tablets are generally allowed into Petco Park provided they comply with the bag policy.

CONCESSIONS

Petco Park offers a unique assortment of concession offerings. All concession stands are open for in-person ordering and pickup. You can order beverages directly to your seat in select areas within Petco Park through the MLB Ballpark app. Please click on the "SD" in the bottom navigation bar and explore the "Food & Beverage Ordering" section.

ELECTRIC OUTLETS (ADA POWER STATIONS)

Electrical outlets for recharging wheelchairs and other necessary equipment are located in many seating areas designated for guests with disabilities. Guests can call 619.795.5555 to request this option when purchasing tickets.

EXIT/RE-ENTRY

Re-entry is permitted at Petco Park. Guests should get their digital ticket scanned before exiting and then re-enter by scanning their ticket again.

FAMILY RESTROOMS

For the convenience of our guests, several family restrooms have been designated for families or guests with disabilities requiring private accommodations or additional assistance. Family restrooms are located in Petco Park at Sections 109, 202, 219, 310, and 311.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE POLICIES

The San Diego Padres permit guests to bring food into Petco Park intended for individual consumption (not for groups of individuals) and should be consumed in oneā€™s seat. Outside food cannot be brought into any ballpark restaurant, club lounge, or suite. Guests must also adhere to the following:

  • All food items should be wrapped, bagged, or left inside a container to avoid spillage.

  • Food that might be thrown as a projectile must be sliced or sectioned (i.e., oranges, apples, and other fruits).

  • Food containers must be soft-sided and comply with Petco Park bag policies.

  • Guests are allowed to bring one factory-sealed plastic bottled water that is still, clear, and unflavored and that is one (1) liter (32 ounces) or less, and soft-sided single juice or milk containers or ADA required liquids in a sealed container.

  • One (1) liter reusable water bottles (no glass) are permitted and must be empty upon entry into the ballpark.

  • California liquor regulations prohibit guests from bringing alcoholic beverages into Petco Park. Security officers at every gate will inspect packages, bags, and purses to prevent guests from bringing bottles, cans, or any other type of liquid containers of alcohol into Petco Park.

FOUL BALLS/HOME RUN BALLS

Guests are welcome to keep any foul ball or home run ball hit into the stands. At no time should a foul ball or home run ball be thrown back onto the playing field. Guests throwing any object onto the playing field or interfering with a ball in play are subject to removal from Petco Park. Guests should stay alert at all times for bats and balls that could land in the seating areas.

GATE TIMES

All entry gates will open to guests 90 minutes prior to first pitch. Season Ticket Members have access to enter 2 hours prior to first pitch at two designated gates (Park Boulevard Gate and Home Plate Gate). Gate times are subject to change for special events, including Opening Day, select promotions, and Postseason play.

GO GREEN INITIATIVE

The Padres Green Initiative sets a standard for sustainable practices at Petco Park. The goal is to reduce waste by recycling at least 80% of collected trash. Below is a list of the recycling programs already in place at Petco Park:

GUEST CODE OF CONDUCT

The San Diego Padres and its contracted service partners are committed to ensuring a safe, comfortable and enjoyable ballpark experience for all guests. Team Members will be proactive to ensure the following:

The progress of the game or event is not disrupted by guests' actions or by unauthorized persons accessing the playing field or restricted areas.

Inappropriate or indecent clothing does not detract from the guest experience.

Guests and Team Members can enjoy the ballpark experience and workplace free from foul or abusive language or obscene gestures and inconsiderate, vulgar, or otherwise inappropriate behavior toward Team Members and/or other guests.

Guests refrain from displays of affection inappropriate in a public family setting.

Intervention with an impaired or intoxicated guest is handled in a prompt and safe manner.

Guests present their tickets when requested and sit only in their ticketed locations.

The San Diego Padres maintain a zero tolerance policy regarding any guest who violates the Guest Code of Conduct. All guests must comply with the Guest Code of Conduct. Any guest who does not will be subject to immediate ejection without refund and revocation of season tickets and/or future ticket privileges.

GUEST INTERFERENCE

In the interest of player and guest safety, the San Diego Padres maintain a zero tolerance regarding guest interference with a ball in play, disruption of an event, or interference with a VIP. Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate removal from Petco Park.

GUESTS WITH ACCESSIBLE NEEDS

Accessible Parking

All parking lots and structures designed by the San Diego Padres and ACE Parking for Petco Park provide accessible parking spaces, at the current parking rate, for guests with accessible needs.

Accessible Seating

The San Diego Padres have designated seats in Petco Park specifically for guests with disabilities in each of the following categories: Wheelchair accessible, Semi-Ambulatory and Transfer seats. In most cases, accompanying companion seats are available.

  • Wheelchair spaces are available for guests with disabilities who utilize a wheelchair
  • Semi-Ambulatory seats are available for guests with disabilities who require additional leg room beyond the minimum of twenty four (24) inches traditional ballpark seating provides
  • Transfer seats are available for guests with disabilities who require an armless aisle seat

Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs)

The Padres are pleased to offer complimentary Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) to guests with hearing difficulties. ALDs can be obtained at the Guest Service Centers located on the Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108. Identification will be required and held to reserve a device. Identification will be returned once the ALD is returned.

Closed Captioning Devices

The Padres are pleased to offer closed captioning of the public address announcements here at Petco Park. The closed-captioning transcript can be viewed using the complimentary MLB Ballpark* app, which is accessible on any smartphone or web-enabled device.

Courtesy Shuttles

Complimentary shuttle service is available for guests with disabilities. The shuttles provide transportation between the Padres Parkade, Tailgate Park, the MTS Garage and Petco Park. The shuttle service is available two (2) hours prior to the start of a scheduled game and continues for approximately one-half (1/2) hour following the conclusion of the game. Guests upon arrival may also text "requesting a shuttle and location" to 619.279.5881. Guests wishing to utilize this service following the game should report to the Park Boulevard and Imperial Avenue as a designated shuttle pickup.

Our guests' patience is requested. Service will be provided in the order that the calls are received.

Elevators

Guests with disabilities have priority on all public elevators at Petco Park. Guests with disabilities can utilize a number of elevators located throughout Petco Park. Elevators to access various ballpark levels are located near Sections 111, 114, 117, 137, 201, 217, 226, 235, 300, 311, 317, 314, 328, inside the Western Metal Supply Co. Building, as well as at the Gaslamp, East Village, Park Boulevard and Home Plate Gates.

Emergency Evacuations

Petco Park Team Members have been trained in evacuation procedures. Should an emergency evacuation situation occur, emergency information will be displayed on the video board as well as announced on the assistive listening devices and the public address system.

Family Restrooms

Family restrooms are designated for families and guests with disabilities who require private accommodations or additional assistance. Family restrooms are located in Petco Park at Sections 109, 202, 219, 310 and 311.

First Aid

First Aid Stations are located at Sections 108, between 129 and 131 in the Padres Power Alley. Trained medical personnel are on duty for all events to assist guests and Team Members as necessary.

Guest Services Centers

Guests needing assistance should approach an event staff member near Sections 108, 131, 303.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcomed at Petco Park. Wheelchair Storage

Wheelchair storage is available at Guest Services Centers at Section 108 and 135. Wheelchair escorts to and from seats are available upon request.

Wheelchair Lifts

Complimentary wheelchair escort service is available to assist guests between the gates and their ticketed seats. Wheelchairs cannot be ā€œchecked out.ā€ Please see any staff member for a wheelchair escort.

Wheelchair Lifts are located throughout the ballpark to assist guests in accessing specific locations.

The San Diego Padres remain committed to ensuring that the Petco Park experience is an enjoyable and accessible one for guests with special needs.

HOSPITALITY SPACES

All-Inclusive Hospitality Spaces at Petco Park are ideal for company picnics, employee events, or perfect for entertaining friends and family. Spaces range in size and allow your group to enjoy the game from unique locations within the ballpark. The Padres provide a turn-key experience so all you have to do is enjoy the game and ballpark experience! Most spaces include food and beverage packages.

ARAMARK manages all janitorial services at Petco Park ensuring that Petco Park is cleanly maintained for all guests. ARAMARK Team Members are available during ballpark events to remove spills, clean and restock restrooms and address any other janitorial issue that may arise. LASER POINTERS

Laser pointers are not permitted inside Petco Park. Please refer to Prohibited Items for a complete listing of items not allowed in the ballpark.

LOST AND FOUND

Misplaced articles may be turned in at the Main Guest Services Center on the Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108. Lost articles will be cataloged and held for thirty (30) days. Items not claimed after thirty (30) days are disposed of or donated to charity. Guests needing assistance in retrieving lost items during non-game hours should fill out the lost inquiry form online at padres.com/lostandfound.

Guests who have a claim number for their lost item can pick up their item at any time at our 24/7 Ballpark Security office, located adjacent to the Omni Hotel on Tony Gwynn Drive.

LOST CHILDREN/ADULT GUESTS

If a guest has become separated from his or her party, individuals looking for the lost guest should be escorted directly to the Main Guest Services Center on the Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108.

All Guest Services Centers offer seat locators for children. These locators identify the seat location and are helpful should a child become separated from his or her party.

LOST CHILDREN/ADULT GUESTS

If a guest has become separated from his or her party, individuals looking for the lost guest should be escorted directly to the Main Guest Services Center on the Field Level (Main Concourse) adjacent to Section 108.

MEDIA/VIP ENTRY

The Media/VIP Entry, located on the southeast side of Petco Park near the Home Plate Gate, is the primary entrance for working media entering Petco Park. The Media/VIP Entry opens approximately four (4) hours prior to the start of each game.

N

NATIONAL ANTHEMS & GOD BLESS AMERICA

To submit a National Anthem audition request, please email [email protected] with a submission via YouTube Link or audio file of yourself singing the anthem and a brief description. Your submission must follow these guidelines:

  1. If singing, it must be a cappella without any instrumental accompaniment

  2. Traditional Rendition ā€“ no changes to the words, or cadence

  3. Must be 1:20 (80 seconds) or less with no reverb (echo) with clear sound

NOISE-MAKING DEVICES

Musical instruments or any type of noise-making device are prohibited from being brought into Petco Park. Any exceptions will be at the discretion and authorization of the San Diego Padres. Please refer to Prohibited Items for a complete listing of items not allowed in the ballpark.

NURSING LOUNGE

For any nursing mothers, you can use the dedicated, private Nursing Lounge on the Terrace Level (Terrace Suite 32), thanks to Sharp Mary Birch.

PAGING

The public address system is not intended for paging guests. In the event of a medical emergency or other special circumstances, consideration will be given to providing a general page solely at the discretion of the San Diego Padres.

PARKING

Parking is extremely limited and public transportation and/or rideshare is encouraged. For fans who want to park near the ballpark, you are encouraged to pre-purchase parking permits for Padres controlled and off-site lots on padres.com/transportation. Those who choose to drive are strongly encouraged to park in Harbor Drive parking facilities (at Convention Center) or to park in outer-lying areas, such as Horton Plaza, and walk into the ballpark area. For the latest maps and information, please refer to padres.com/transportation.

The San Diego Padres, in partnership with Ace Parking, offer a broad range of parking options at a variety of price levels and locations. Guests have a choice when it comes to the price and location of parking. More than 27,000 parking spaces are located near the ballpark in the downtown area. Of those spaces, 8,000 have been designated specifically for Petco Park guests at prices ranging from $15.00 to $60.00 depending on proximity to the ballpark. Padres Preferred parking, located directly adjacent to Petco Park, can be purchased in advance at padres.com or by calling (619) 795-5555. Season Ticket Members have the opportunity to purchase discounted parking passes to match their game plan. The San Diego Padres continue to encourage Season Ticket Members to take advantage of this option. Pre-paid parking is also offered to individual game ticket buyers online and the Petco Park box office. Additional pre-paid parking options are available at space.aceparking.com.

Guests driving to the ballpark should plan on arriving early and should choose a parking location based on the direction they will be heading after the game, whether to the north, south or east. For large attendance games, guests are urged to utilize public transportation, or to park in Harbor Drive parking facilities.

The San Diego Padres cannot dictate prices set by private garages/lots, or prices controlled by other parking enterprises.

Located inside Gallagher Square (with limited views of the playing field), Picnic Hill serves as a location for guests to relax and picnic while enjoying ballpark events. During Padres games and major functions, a game ticket is required to be in this area.

POSTPONED GAMES

The right to delay the start of a game rests with the home club. Once both team managers meet with the umpires and exchange lineup cards, the right to determine whether the game will be interrupted or terminated is at the discretion of the Umpire-in-Chief. Under the provisions of the Official Playing Rules, the Umpire-in- Chief shall have sole and unquestioned authority to determine whether and when play will be halted during a game; when play will be resumed; and whether and when a game will be terminated due to bad weather or unsafe playing conditions. Even with inclement weather, the San Diego Padres will make every effort to play all scheduled games.

In the event of a postponed or cancelled event, guests will be advised to check the San Diego Padres website at padres.com, local newspapers, or Padres media affiliates for updates.

Pregame participants enter through the Media/VIP Entry located near the Home Plate Gate. Upon arrival, participants should check in with the appropriate credentials.

A designated rideshare loading zone is located across the street from the Bayfront Hilton Hotel (next to the Convention Center) on Harbor Drive and Park Boulevard. We encourage fans to get dropped off and picked up at this location, and then take the pedestrian sky bridge towards Petco Park.

Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) Bus and Trolley Service

All three (3) MTS Trolley lines, plus select bus routes, provide direct, frequent service to Petco Park. Three Trolley stations ā€“ 12th and Imperial, Park and Market, and the Gaslamp Quarter Station (Fifth Avenue and Harbor Drive) ā€“ are all within two blocks of the stadium. Fans can also use MTSā€™ free Park & Ride lots along MTS Trolley and Rapid routes for easy access to Petco Park! Paying for your Fare: Padres fans can purchase fares right on their phone with the PRONTO mobile ticketing app in the App Store or on Google Play. Simply load money to your phone, then scan your app on a validator to pay for a one-way fare (good for two hours of travel time).

PRONTO cards are also available for purchase or reload at all Trolley ticket machines or retail partner locations. Every passenger must have their own PRONTO card or app to ride.

The San Diego Bay Ferry departs from the Coronado Ferry Landing Shopping Center to 5th Ave Landing (behind the Convention Center) starting at 9:10 a.m. and recurring every half-hour until 9:40 p.m (10:40 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays). Returning from 5th Ave Landing to Coronado starting at 9:25 a.m. and recurring every half-hour until 9:55 p.m. (10:55 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays). The ferry costs $5 per person, each way. Rideshare

Petco Park welcomes guests with personal wheelchairs or walkers. However, their use must not limit guest movement or block aisles. Guests should refrain from leaving personal items unattended or storing them on the concourse or in the seating bowl. For guest convenience and ballpark safety, items should be checked at the Guest Services Centers located on the Field Level (Main Concourse), at Section 108, Section 131 or Section 303.

Complimentary wheelchair escort service is available to assist guests between the gates and their ticketed seats. The San Diego Padres remain committed to ensuring that the Petco Park experience is an enjoyable and accessible one for guests with special needs. We continue to fine-tune this award-winning ballpark from both operational and facilities standpoints.

WATER BOTTLES

Factory-sealed plastic bottled water that is still, clear and unflavored and that is one (1) liter (32 ounces) or less are permitted into Petco Park. In addition, one (1) liter reusable water bottles (no glass) are permitted and must be empty upon entry into the ballpark.
