Was voted the KBO Player of the Year by the Korea Professional Baseball Players Association, along with winning the Nutriday Ilgu Sang Awards for Best Batter for his 2025 campaign…later earned his first KBO Fielding Award at third base, followed by earning his first Gold Glove as the best overall player at third base...he became the Heroes' first third baseman to win the Gold Glove...Across 144 games, had a career-best 181 hits, 37 doubles, 103 runs scored, 26 home runs and 25 stolen bases… finished the season with a .315 average (181-for-574), .387 on-base percentage, .530 slugging, .917 OPS and 90 RBI...Among KBO players, he ranked second in hits and doubles, third in runs scored, sixth in home runs and tied for sixth in triples...Recorded a season-high 18-game on-base streak from July 25-Aug. 15, shortly followed by a season-high 13-game hit streak from Aug. 17-31…during his hit streak, he batted .436 (24-for-55) with four doubles, a triple, four home runs, 12 RBI, six walks, 16 runs scored and nine multi-hit efforts, including six-straight multi-hit games...Hit an extra-inning, 425-foot solo walk-off home run in the 10th inning to defeat the LG Twins, 2-1, on June 6…in the leadoff role, he finished the game 2-for-4 with the solo home run to lead off the inning and a walk.

Had a breakout year during his 2024 campaign, slashing .340/.409/.518 with a .927 OPS, 29 doubles, four triples, 19 home runs, 104 RBI, 21 stolen bases, 64 walks and 88 runs scored across 142 games…earned his first KBO All-Star selection after finishing the season ranking within the Top 10 in hits (179, 5th), singles (127, 5th), average (5th), OBP (7th), triples (T-7th), OPS (8th), SLG (9th) and walks (T-9th)…set career highs in average, on-base, OPS and RBI…reached base safely in 22 of his final 23 games of the season, recording a hit in 19 of them, including finishing the year with a season-high nine-game hit streak.

Played in 104 games, batting .263 (102-for-388) with a .683 OPS (16 2B, 3 3B, 5 HR, 39 BB) and 60 RBI during his 2023 campaign…amid a nine-game hit streak from Sept. 10-Oct.2, he reached base safely in 21 of his 41 plate appearances (14 H, 7 BB) and drove in at least one run in six-straight games.

In 142 games throughout the 2022 season, he averaged .247 (135-for-547) with 21 doubles, four triples, 13 home runs, 79 RBI, 45 walks and 67 runs…tied for 5th-most triples in the KBO that season…the Heroes won their semi-playoff (vs. KT Wiz, 3-2) and playoff series (vs. LG Twins, 3-1) but ultimately fell in the Korean Series to the SSG Landers (2-4).

During his age-22 season in 2019, he played in 100+ games for the 1st time in his career (103 games)…finished the season, going 70-for-308 (.227) with 12 doubles, five triples, three home runs, 34 RBI, two stolen bases, 19 walks and 33 runs scored, finishing tied for 10th in triples…the Heroes fell 0-4 in the Korean Series to the Doosan Bears after winning the semi-playoffs vs. LG Twins (3-1) and playoffs vs. SK Wyverns (3-0).

In 78 games played, he finished the 2018 season with a .313 average (66-for-211), .381 on-base percentage, .502 slugging, .884 OPS, 19 doubles, seven homers, 45 RBI, two stolen bases, 24 walks and 35 runs scored…the Heroes finished the season in fourth place (75-69), winning both the wild card and semi-playoff series before falling in the payoff vs. SK Wyverns (3-2).

Played in 38 games during the 2017 season, slashing .273/.360/.697 with a triple, home run, eight RBI, 10 walks and 11 runs scored across 38 games.
