Sept. 8: Walker Watch Party
Come to the WALKER WATCH PARTY on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at McGregor Square to see the televised ceremony from Cooperstown of Rockies legend Larry Walker being officially inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame! Ahead of the 1:10 home game, this will be a pregame celebration with the show starting at 11:30 a.m., featuring specials and a limited number of Walker beverage wraps at Milepost Zero. So grab your lunch at McGregor Square and gather with Rockies fans on the plaza to celebrate the first Rockie in the Hall! Tickets for the Sept. 8 game vs. the Giants are available here.
Sept. 25: Walker at Coors Field for Retirement of #33 and Hall of Fame Celebration
Be at Coors Field on Saturday, Sept. 25 for a very special celebration of Larry Walker in person, as the Rockies will host extended pregame ceremonies beginning at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate his induction into the Hall of Fame and officially retire his jersey number 33 with a permanent sign on the outfield wall, including speeches from Larry and some of his former Blake Street Bomber teammates. All fans through the gates will get a commemorative Walker Hall of Fame bobblehead, and an opportunity to get their photo taken with Walker’s actual Hall of Fame plaque, which is only allowed outside of Cooperstown for one day – and Sept. 25 is it!
