UMKC Commencement

The University of Missouri-Kansas City 2022 Spring Commencement is coming to The K! Join us to celebrate your hard work and success with loved ones in the home of the Royals. This event is rain or shine.

There is no guest limit so grab your tickets at the links below for all of those coming to celebrate with you. We will have reserved seating sections for the graduates with information on their seat communicated to them at check-in at Gate E.

All seats at the below link are available to guests of graduates. To ensure your group can sit together, please reserve all seats you’ll want in one transaction. Once the group reservation is made, you will be able to forward the tickets to others via email in the MLB Ballpark app.

Where should graduates enter?

All graduates enter through Gate E in right field. Proceed to your school’s table to check-in. After checking in, you will line up with your academic unit for the procession.

Where should guests enter?

Guests for the 10:00 a.m. CT ceremony will enter through Gate B. Guests for the 2:00 p.m. CT ceremony will enter through Gate D.

Are tickets and parking free?

Yes! Reserve your tickets at the links above. There are no parking passes required for graduates or guests.

How early can graduates enter before their ceremony? How early can guests enter before the ceremony?

Both graduates and guests can enter Kauffman Stadium one-hour prior to their Commencement Ceremony’s start time. For the 10:00 a.m. CT ceremony, gates will open at 9:00 a.m. CT. For the 2:00 p.m. CT ceremony, gates will open at 1:00 p.m. CT.

What should I do if I am going to attend both ceremonies?

To attend both ceremonies, you will need a ticket to each one. Reserve the tickets that you need for each ceremony.
