The Detroit Tigers are one of baseball’s oldest and most tradition-rich franchises. Founded in 1894, the club became a charter member of the American League in 1901 and quickly established itself as a cornerstone of Major League Baseball, capturing the team's first pennant in 1907 and building a legacy that has spanned generations.
