Just over halfway through June, the scorching-hot Charlie Condon has already tied his personal best for most home runs in a single calendar month, and he did it off of a rehabbing Major League starter.
Condon, the Rockies’ No. 2 prospect and MLB Pipeline’s No. 72 overall, took Astros starter Cristian Javier (shoulder strain) deep Tuesday amid Triple-A Albuquerque’s 8-3 win over Sugar Land at Isotopes Park. Condon now has six homers in June and 10 in his last 20 games.
The 2024 No. 3 overall pick, Condon laced a Javier four-seamer in the fourth-inning for a no-doubt two-run shot. It left the bat at 99.4 mph and traveled a projected 407 feet to the opposite field. It kicked off the scoring for Albuquerque on Tuesday and jumpstarted a four-run fourth.
Condon also tripled in the fifth on a line drive to center field, carrying over the defense’s heads at 97.7 mph. He motored into third standing up with his third RBI of a 2-for-4 day.

After skyrocketing through the Minor Leagues in 2025, Condon has been just as dominant in his first stint at Triple-A. He is up to a .264/.392/.519 slash line with 14 total home runs. Perhaps as impressively for the slugger, he’s also walked 43 times against 69 strikeouts.
