A Blue Jays fan rocking a Vlad Jr. jersey caught not one but TWO foul balls during Tuesday’s game in Toronto. And he made sure to pay it forward.
Seated in the front row down the right-field line toward the foul pole at Rogers Centre, he started off his night by snagging a second-inning foul ball from Toronto’s Lenyn Sosa. In all of his glory, the fan celebrated what he likely assumed would be his one and only moment in the spotlight.
As fate would have it, that same fan caught another one in the fifth inning, this off the bat of Daulton Varsho.
"The same guy!" the Toronto broadcasters exclaimed.
After keeping the first souvenir, the generous Jays fan decided to give the second one to a young Toronto supporter seated a few rows away.
Not a bad night at the ballpark for this fan and his lucky benefactor.
