Chris Devenski to be Astroline Guest Tonight from West Palm Beach

Astros right-handed pitcher Chris Devenski will be the featured guest on Astroline tonight, March 1 at 6 p.m. CT (7 p.m. ET) as the show makes its 2018 debut from Duffy's Sports Grill in West Palm Beach, Florida. Astros radio play-by-play broadcaster Robert Ford will host the show.

Astros right-handed pitcher Chris Devenski will be the featured guest on Astroline tonight, March 1 at 6 p.m. CT (7 p.m. ET) as the show makes its 2018 debut from Duffy's Sports Grill in West Palm Beach, Florida. Astros radio play-by-play broadcaster Robert Ford will host the show.
Tonight's Astroline, which is presented by Karbach Brewing Co., will air on the Astros Radio Network, the Astros flagship station KBME SportsTalk 790 AM and will stream online at Astros.com/Astroline. All shows are scheduled to broadcast on KBME SportsTalk 790, but are subject to change due to scheduling conflicts. Astroline broadcasts live, weekly from 6-7 p.m. CT (7-8 p.m. ET) every offseason from November through March.
Tonight's Astroline is the 2018 season's first from Duffy's, which is located at 225 N Clematis St, West Palm Beach, FL 33401. Devenski, 27, is entering his third season as a Major Leaguer and is coming off an All-Star year. In 2017, he went 8-5 with a 2.68 ERA (24ER/80.2IP) and 100 strikeouts in 62 relief appearances. Among American League relievers, Devenski ranked tied for second in strikeouts (100), tied for sixth in holds (24), tied for 11th in WHIP (0.94) and 12th in opponent average (.174). Devenski led all Astros relievers with 10 postseason appearances and earned his first postseason win in Game 2 of the World Series.
Ford is entering his sixth season as the Astros radio play-by-play commentator after being named to the post prior to the 2013 season. Before joining the Astros, Ford spent four seasons as the pre-and postgame host for the Kansas City Royals radio broadcasts on 610 AM KCSP, the Royals flagship station. The 2001 graduate of Syracuse University spent seven years broadcasting minor league baseball, calling more than 800 games during his stints with the Binghamton Mets, Kalamazoo Kings and Yakima Bears. Ford was twice named Frontier League Broadcaster of the Year (2003, 2004).
