2026 Cactus Jack HBCU Classic

The 4th Annual Cactus Jack Foundation HBCU Classic is set for Saturday, April 11, 2026 at Daikin Park. The Classic, is designed by the Astros Youth Academy and Astros Foundation and to highlight Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and their baseball programs.

The Classic will feature Houston-area Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern University, as well as Arkansas Pine-Bluff and Alcorn State.

While the Daikin Park roof protects from rain and excessive heat, the ballpark gets cold in the winter months. When planning your day, be sure to dress as if you are watching these games outdoors.

Become a Vendor

The Astros Foundation is looking for vendors for the 2026 Cactus Jack HBCU Classic. Two booth sizes are available and each includes set-up for both games of the HBCU Classic. All booths will be located on the Main Concourse of Daikin Park.

Booth options:
• 10’x10’ Vendor Booth – One (1) 6-foot table with black linen and two (2) banquet chairs - $200.00
• 10’x20’ Vendor Booth – Two (2) 6-foot tables with black linen and four (4) banquet chairs - $300.00
