Below is a list of every player drafted through the first 40 picks (up to the second round) of the 2026 MLB Draft.

Each club has until 5 p.m. ET on Monday, July 27, to come to terms with its Draft selections. If a player has exhausted his collegiate eligibility, he can sign at any time up until one week prior to the next year’s Draft.

Cholowsky received the highest signing bonus in Draft history. His deal, about $1 million below the pick value, surpassed 2024 first-rounders Chase Burns (Reds) and Charlie Condon (Rockies), who each signed for $9.3 million. Touted as the best college shortstop since Troy Tulowitzki, Cholowsky has four tools graded 60 or higher, headlined by his elite fielding skills.
