ABOUT CANADIAN FUTURES SHOWCASE
Highlighting the elite baseball talent of the North, the Blue Jays Baseball Academy heads west for the 12th annual Canadian Futures Showcase presented by Rogers. The event will be held at Rogers Field at Nat Bailey Stadium in Vancouver, BC from September 17-20, 2026.
The showcase splits players evenly between six teams to compete against each other in a competitive, tournament-style format, starting with a scout day and concluding with a home run derby and championship match up. Players are selected through a series of open tryouts and in-person evaluations that run nationally over the spring and summer. Click here to find out more about the tryout process.
Since 2013, 201 former Canadian Futures Showcase participants have been drafted by Major League Baseball organizations, with more than 1,100 receiving college scholarships.
