The Blue Jays Baseball Academy joined Major League Baseball to celebrate youth baseball and softball during the league-wide Play Ball Weekend from Friday, June 14 to Sunday, June 16, 2024.

The weekend featured Play Ball events and free youth clinics throughout the GTA, as well as special Play Ball Saturday programming at Rogers Centre on Saturday, June 15.

All registered participants receive a confirmation email after registering for a clinic. An information email about the clinic is sent out roughly five days prior to the clinic date and will contain details about the clinic including when to arrive, what to bring and if necessary, details on the inclement weather plan.

All participants are asked to bring a baseball glove, bat, helmet, baseball cleats or running shoes, and be dressed in appropriate athletic attire. Please also bring enough water, snacks and sunscreen based on the climate that day. A couple bats and helmets will be available for folks who do not own those items.
