School Visits

On May 8, center fielder Randal Grichuk and catcher Danny Jansen visited more than 150 students at St. Michael Catholic School. St. Michael Catholic School currently participates in Jays Care Foundation’s RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities) program. Run in partnership with MLB, RBI is a school-based initiative intended to provide children living in inner city communities the opportunity to play organized baseball. As part of the program, Jays Care Foundation provides baseball equipment, uniforms, coaches, volunteers, training, and transportation support to each of the RBI teams. RBI is currently implemented in the Greater Toronto Area with the Toronto District School Board and Toronto Catholic District School Board.
