The Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy hosted 13 Super Camps powered by Honda across Canada for baseball players of all skill levels aged 9 to 16 in 2019. Thank you to the over 1,200 players who joined us and we look forward to seeing you again in 2020.
Super Camps powered by Honda are the ultimate Major League Experience! Camps are taught by both Blue Jays Alumni and Blue Jays Baseball Academy Instructors in an organized, structured, and fun environment that helps develop their baseball skills. Blue Jays Alumni, some of which have been participating in Super Camps powered by Honda for several years, enjoy giving back to the baseball community of Canada and sharing their knowledge, skills, and experience with youth players across the country. Our Blue Jays Academy Instructors also travel with us to each city, and are NCCP registered, experienced coaches, trained in the 'Blue Jays Way' of teaching baseball to youth. We also team up with coaches from local baseball associations to help develop their instructing skills to take back to their local teams.
Players will rotate through stations that cover skills including: hitting, pitching, infield, outfield, base running and agility.
Participants will receive a Blue Jays hat, T-shirt, baseball manual with information to take home to continue to develop their baseball skills, and autographs from the alumni present.
Host a Super Camp

Two Day Super Camp: $219 (plus tax) per participant
Three Day Rogers Centre Super Camp: $289 (plus HST) per participant

WHAT TO BRING
Players are asked to bring the following:
- baseball bat (wood or aluminum)
- pair of baseball cleats, running shoes or turf shoes
- baseball glove
- batting helmet
- baseball pants
- batting gloves (optional)
- jock/cup (optional but recommended)
- water bottle/snack
When do camps go on-sale for 2020?
Our 2020 Super Camps schedule including registration typically goes on sale early in the New Year. Please check back with us here for when we are live with registration. If you would like to be added to our mailing list in order to receive an email as soon as we go on sale, please email email@example.com.
Do you separate children by age and grade?
All camp participants are separated into groups by age with the attempt to keep teammates and friends together. Requests to be in the same group must be submitted at time of registration, however we may be unable to fulfill every request. Please understand and respect that grouping decisions are made by Blue Jays staff for the betterment of each participant's experience.
How do I enroll for a Blue Jays Super Camps?
Registration for Super Camps powered by Honda can be done above by clicking the registration button once we are on sale in early 2020. Please be sure to register for the correct camp in your area. Super Camps have limited enrolment and do sell out, so register early to avoid disappointment.
Do you accept walk up registrations?
Due to the fact that we expect each Blue Jays Super Camps to be sold out, we encourage you to register in advance. In the case of a camp not being sold out, walk up registrations will be accepted.
Do I receive a confirmation when I register?
All registered participants will receive a confirmation email after registering for the camp. An information email about the camp will be sent out roughly one month and again, one week prior to the camp date and will contain details about the camp including when to arrive, what to bring, and details on inclement weather plan if necessary. Receipts will be emailed to participants at least two business days upon registration.
How do you handle inclement weather?
Decisions affecting the status of a Super Camp powered by Honda are always made at the field on the day of the camp, taking into account the current field conditions, weather forecast, and availability of nearby indoor facilities. Given that our staff travel to run Super Camps, email and phone response time will be delayed, so we suggest always going to the field.
What precautions do you take to handle the summer heat?
Super Camps powered by Honda take place during the peak of summer and often in high temperatures. We strongly recommend that camp participants bring enough water for the day given the climate. In the event that a participant does not bring, or runs out of water, we will have water available for them. In addition, on especially hot days, we will schedule additional water breaks and encourage players to take their water bottles from station to station. A First-Aid Paramedic is always onsite to handle any players suffering from too much heat.
Can Blue Jays Super Camps accommodate children with peanut or life-threatening allergies?
Upon registration, parents and guardians are able to indicate any allergy or medical history. That information is then communicated to staff onsite at the camp, first aid, and our lead instructor.
Do parents and guardians need to stay during the Super Camp powered by Honda?
The Blue Jays Baseball Academy encourages parents and guardians to stay during the camp and be engaged in their player's baseball development. That said, we understand that situations may occur that require parents to leave the field during the day. We encourage parents to return no later than 30 minutes prior to the end of the camp (12:30 p.m. in most cases).
How does the autograph signing work?
Autograph sessions typically take place after the first day of camp; this is specified in your information email received one week prior to the camp. Participants are able to receive one autograph from all alumni. For example, if there are four alumni, a participant could bring one baseball for all four alumni to sign, or bring four baseballs, one for each alumni to sign.
Autographs are structured and organized by the wristband colour group. We appreciate everyone's patience during this process (especially on hot days) as it is the best way to ensure everyone gets an equal opportunity at autographs.
When should players arrive?
On the first day of camp, we ask that players arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start to check-in to receive their t-shirt, hat, and manual.
Do players have to wear their given t-shirt and hat?
Yes! Players are required to wear the t-shirt and hat provided at check-in. This enables us to account for everyone and maintains a solid, unified look.
What's the difference between a Super Camp at Rogers Centre versus other locations?
Super Camps powered by Honda, which take place at Rogers Centre go for one additional hour each day (9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.) which is to ensure that all players have the maximum number of repetitions. In addition, camps at Rogers Centre will provided opportunities unique to other camps including a professionally printed photo and behind-the-scenes stations.
Is there a refund if my child has to cancel for whatever reason?
A full refund, less a $10 administration fee, will be granted if registration is cancelled at least 48 hours prior to camp date. Any cancellations within 48 hours of the camp will not receive a refund.
