Baseball Academy | Super Camps

In 2018, the Toronto Blue Jays Baseball Academy hosted 14 Super Camps throughout Canada, including all provinces and one territory, delivering memorable baseball experiences to over 1,500 players. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Blue Jays Super Camps are two or three day, four-hour baseball skills camps happening in communities all across Canada from July to August.

Super Camps provide male and female players aged 9-16 with the ultimate Major League experience: learning skills and techniques from former Major Leaguers! During the camp, players will rotate through drills that will cover all skills including: hitting, throwing, fielding, pitching, and base running. Camps run 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. each day.

Each participant will receive a Blue Jays hat, T-shirt, baseball manual and the opportunity to get autographs from the Blue Jays alumni present.

The Blue Jays Baseball Academy will be offering local baseball associations across Canada the opportunity to host a Super Camp during the summer of 2019 for amateur players aged 9 to 16. They will be taking place in July and August

Receipts will be emailed to participants at least two weeks before the start of camp.

If we see lightning or hear thunder, outdoor camp programs are immediately brought inside as we take extreme precaution to ensure that attending campers are safe.

What precautions do you take to handle the summer heat?
The Blue Jays Baseball Academy is well aware that the summer heat can drain a camper throughout the day. Water is always available, and campers are encouraged to take water breaks approximately every 15-20 minutes. We take the heat, humidity and the air quality seriously. On a daily basis, the Blue Jays Baseball Academy communicates with our hosts at each camp location to discuss the heat and air index. On extremely hot days and for those campers spending the majority of their time playing outdoors, participants will take plenty of water breaks.

Yes. Families with children who have peanut or nut allergies can feel safe and comfortable at our summer camps. We are well aware of the dangers and concerns with allergies and take our allergy procedures and systems seriously. Upon registration (and in the morning of each camp day), Blue Jays Baseball Academy directors take special note of the children with allergies by placing a mandatory, but inconspicuous, coloured paper bracelet around the child's wrist marked with the child's name for identification purposes.
