On Sunday, August 30, the Toronto Blue Jays held its annual Fundraising Event at Rogers Centre in support of Jays Care Foundation. The club’s longest-running community initiative encouraged Blue Jays fans to help “Stuff the Bus” by donating new school supplies, purchasing mystery items, or making a monetary donation to support Canadian students facing barriers. This year, Blue Jays fans helped raise over $100,000 as well as donated new school supplies which went directly to students participating in Jays Care Foundations Programs, providing students the tools they need to succeed and thrive during the academic year.
