On September 4, 2020, the Atlanta Braves celebrate HBCU Night presented by Truist Bank, by highlighting the contributions and impact HBCU’s have made in the African-American communities, discussing front-office careers in baseball, and highlighting HBCU and Braves alums such as Marvin Freeman, Marquis Grissom, and Braves Hall of Famers Ralph Garr, and the late, Bill Lucas.
- HBCU Careers in Baseball: The Atlanta Braves invite students to join a panel discussion on HBCU Careers in Baseball presented by Truist Bank. HBCU students and recent graduates are welcome to learn about the business of baseball from HBCU graduates working in the sport and entertainment industry.
