Blake Snell, Tyler Glasnow and Mookie Betts, Dodgers

Snell (left shoulder fatigue) will make his May 9 start with the Dodgers rather than having a final rehab start.

Glasnow was placed on the injured list on May 8 with low back spasms.

Betts (right oblique strain) was scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on May 8. He will play rehab games on May 8 and May 9, and based on the timeline the Dodgers have shared, he could be activated by May 11.

Tarik Skubal, Gleyber Torres, Justin Verlander, Casey Mize, Will Vest, Beau Brieske and Jackson Jobe, Tigers

Skubal underwent arthroscopic surgery on May 6 to remove a loose body from his left elbow. He will head to the Tigers’ Spring Training facility in Lakeland, Fla., but he won’t be able to resume throwing until the surgical incisions heal. “All reports are positive and optimistic," manager A.J. Hinch said.

Torres was placed on the 10-day injured list on May 6, retroactive to May 4, with a mild left oblique strain he suffered May 2.

Verlander (left hip inflammation) will throw a two-inning simulated game on May 9 in Kansas City. He will likely need additional work against hitters after that.

Mize (mild right adductor strain) threw a bullpen session on May 8. He will need to face hitters in a simulated game or on a rehab assignment before he rejoins the Tigers.

Vest (right lateral forearm inflammation) received a cortisone injection May 8 to remove remaining inflammation in his forearm and will resume throwing soon.

Brieske (left adductor strain) is scheduled to make an appearance for Single-A Lakeland on May 9.

Jobe (Tommy John surgery) threw his latest bullpen session on May 8.

Cole Ragans, Carlos Estévez and Noah Cameron, Royals

Ragans is dealing with valgus extension overload (VEO) in his left elbow, a condition commonly called pitcher’s elbow. He was placed on the 15-day injured list on May 8 and will be shut down until May 10 or 11 before ramping up again.

Estévez has a right rotator cuff strain and will be shut down for the next three weeks, the Royals announced May 7. He was returned from his rehab assignment on May 8, remaining on the 15-day IL.

Cameron was scratched from his May 5 start with low back tightness. The injury is not considered serious and he does not expect to miss more than one start.

Jasson Domínguez, Giancarlo Stanton, Luis Gil, Carlos Rodón and Gerrit Cole, Yankees

Domínguez suffered a low-grade AC joint sprain in his left shoulder after crashing into the left-field fence on May 7 against the Rangers. He has been placed in concussion protocol but is not showing concussion symptoms, per manager Aaron Boone.

Stanton (right calf strain) has not resumed running as of May 5 and has since returned home to practice hitting.

Gil was placed on the injured list on May 8 with right shoulder inflammation while pitching for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. He will not throw for at least three weeks.

Rodón (left elbow surgery recovery) made his third rehab start on May 5 for Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, throwing 83 pitches (49 strikes) over 6 1/3 innings. If he recovers well, his next start will be with the Yankees.

Cole made his fourth rehab start on May 5 with High-A Hudson Valley, throwing 69 pitches (49 strikes) over 4 1/3 innings.

Christian Yelich, Brandon Woodruff, Quinn Priester, Brandon Lockridge and Garrett Mitchell, Brewers

Yelich (left groin strain) participated in baserunning drills on May 8 and has a chance to be back in the Brewers' lineup during the club's current homestand, which runs through May 14.

Woodruff (right shoulder inflammation) rejoined the team on May 8 and will resume throwing on May 9.

Priester (right neurogenic thoracic outlet syndrome), who was returned from his rehab assignment on May 4 after three poor outings, expects to face hitters in a simulated game on May 11.

Lockridge was carted off the field on May 8 after injuring his right knee sliding into a wall while chasing a foul ball. X-rays were negative, but Lockridge has a deep laceration down to the bone and is “going to be out a while," according to manager Pat Murphy.

Mitchell (illness) was out of the lineup again May 8 but entered in the fourth inning as an injury replacement.

Carlos Correa, Hunter Brown, Jeremy Peña, Tatsuya Imai and Lance McCullers Jr., Astros

Correa needs left ankle surgery for a tendon injury and will miss the rest of the season.

Brown (Grade 2 right shoulder strain) threw a bullpen session on May 8 that went well.

The next step for Peña (Grade 1 right hamstring strain) is to run the bases, possibly May 9 or May 10 in Cincinnati. He could begin a Minor League rehab assignment the week of May 11.

Imai (right arm fatigue) will return to the Astros rotation during the May 11-14 series against the Mariners.

McCullers is unsure if he will make his next start after a portion of the nail on his right index finger "popped off" on a curveball during the third inning May 6.

Ranger Suarez, Roman Anthony and Garrett Crochet, Red Sox

Suarez exited his start on May 3 due to right hamstring tightness. The current plan is for Suarez to remain off the injured list and to make his next start sometime during the Red Sox's May 12-14 series against the Phillies.

Anthony (right wrist sprain) was placed on the 10-day injured list on May 7. He expects to return from the IL when first eligible.

Crochet (left shoulder inflammation) is throwing at 60 feet and said his May 6 session was the best he's felt since going on the injured list on April 29.

Ronald Acuña Jr. and Ha-Seong Kim, Braves

Acuña (Grade 1 left hamstring strain) did agility drills in the outfield before the Braves' May 8 game at Dodger Stadium. He might not be ready to be activated when eligible on May 13, but he could rejoin the lineup when the club's next road trip begins on May 18.

Kim (torn tendon in right middle finger) is 6-for-20 with no extra-base hits in seven rehab games with Triple-A Gwinnett. He could be activated during the Braves' May 12-17 homestand.

Cade Povich, Blaze Alexander and Jackson Holliday, Orioles

Povich was placed on the 15-day IL on May 8 with left elbow inflammation. The severity of the issue is currently unclear. He could receive a cortisone shot, although other treatment options remain on the table.

Alexander was scratched from the Orioles' May 8 lineup with right calf tightness.

Holliday (right hamate surgery/right hand discomfort) began a rehab assignment with Double-A Chesapeake on May 7, serving as the designated hitter and going 0-for-3. He isn't expected to return to the Orioles until at least mid-May.

Max Scherzer, José Berríos, Shane Bieber, Alejandro Kirk, Addison Barger and Nathan Lukes, Blue Jays

Scherzer (right forearm tendinitis) received a cortisone injection to his forearm on May 7 and will be shut down from throwing for five days.

Berríos (right elbow stress fracture) will have an in-person evaluation with Dr. Keith Meister on May 12 after an MRI showed "small changes" to his initial injury.

Bieber (right elbow inflammation) threw a "two-up" side session with no issues on May 6. He is scheduled to throw another live batting practice session as he continues to ramp up.

Kirk (fractured left thumb) has started swinging a bat and remains on track for his original projected timeline of about six weeks.

Barger (left ankle sprain) is expected to be activated prior to Toronto's game on May 9.

Lukes (left hamstring discomfort) has started running at the club's Florida complex and will continue to progress.

Matthew Boyd, Caleb Thielbar and Hunter Harvey, Cubs

Boyd had successful left knee meniscectomy surgery on May 7 in Chicago. The procedure is considered a partial repair of his meniscus, and the club is hopeful Boyd can return in roughly six weeks.

Thielbar (left hamstring strain) threw a successful bullpen session on May 8 and will throw off a mound again May 10, per manager Craig Counsell. From there, live batting practice and a Minor League rehab stint would be the next steps.

Harvey (right triceps inflammation) had a setback after a May 7 bullpen session, per Counsell. Dealing with a stress reaction, he has been shut down for a month and has moved his rehab to Arizona.

Gabriel Arias, Shawn Armstrong and Andrew Walters, Guardians

Arias (left hamstring strain) was initially expected to miss four to eight weeks, but manager Stephen Vogt said on May 8 that Arias' rehab is "going to be a little bit longer. He hit a little snag."

Armstrong (right groin strain) threw a bullpen session on May 8. If he feels well coming out of that, his next step will be a Minor League rehab appearance.

Walters (right lat surgery rehab) was returned from his rehab assignment due to a viral illness. He will begin a new rehab stint once back to full strength.

Travis d'Arnaud, Grayson Rodriguez, Logan O'Hoppe, Ben Joyce and Yusei Kikuchi, Angels

d'Arnaud was placed on the 10-day IL on May 8, retroactive to May 7, with right foot plantar fasciitis.

Rodriguez (right shoulder inflammation) will start a rehab assignment with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on May 10.

O'Hoppe (left wrist fracture) has progressed to playing catch, throwing to bases, catching off the machine and taking batting practice on the field as of May 8.

Joyce (right shoulder surgery) allowed one run in one inning for Single-A Rancho Cucamonga on May 5 and will pitch again on May 9.

Kikuchi (left shoulder inflammation) has been shut down from throwing for three to four weeks and remains hopeful he can avoid surgery.

Bryce Miller and Rob Refsnyder, Mariners

Miller (left side oblique inflammation) will join the Mariners for their May 8-10 series in Chicago, a source told MLB.com. He will meet with the club's coaching and athletic training staff to determine if he is ready to be activated from the injured list or if he needs one more Minor League rehab start on May 12.

Refsnyder (knee soreness) was out of the lineup May 6 and again May 8. The issue has kept him from playing the outfield since April 27.

Ketel Marte, D-backs

Marte was scratched from Arizona's May 8 lineup against the Mets with an illness.

Luis Campusano and Joe Musgrove, Padres

Campusano was placed on the 10-day injured list on May 7 with a left toe fracture after fouling a ball off his foot on May 5.

Musgrove (Tommy John surgery) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on May 7.

Kodai Senga and A.J. Minter, Mets

Senga (lumbar spine inflammation) restarted his throwing program on May 6.

Minter (left lat surgery) was pulled off his rehab assignment on May 6 after experiencing left hip discomfort.

Rhett Lowder, Eugenio Suárez, Emilio Pagán and Brandon Williamson, Reds

Lowder left his start against the Cubs on May 7 in the fourth inning with right shoulder discomfort. An MRI came back clean, and he received an injection to treat inflammation in his AC joint. The Reds have not made a decision regarding an IL stint.

Suárez (left oblique strain) had a follow-up MRI that showed significant improvement, per manager Terry Francona.

Pagán was placed on the 15-day injured list on May 6 with a Grade 2 left hamstring strain, which should keep him out about four to eight weeks. He began throwing from his knees on May 8.

Williamson (left shoulder fatigue) was transferred to the 60-day injured list on May 6.

Luis García Jr. and DJ Herz, Nationals

García (minor right hand/wrist sprain) was available off the bench on May 8 in Miami after taking batting practice.

Herz (left UCL sprain) threw another 30-pitch bullpen session on May 6 at the Nationals’ training complex in West Palm Beach, Fla.

Kyle Teel, White Sox

Teel (right hamstring strain) will run the bases during the weekend of May 9-10, general manager Chris Getz said May 8. If all goes well, he could begin a rehab assignment as soon as May 12.

Logan Webb, Harrison Bader and Erik Miller, Giants

Webb (left knee soreness) is on track to make his next start against the Dodgers on May 11.

Bader (left hamstring strain) is 2-for-10 with a home run during his first three rehab games with Triple-A Sacramento.

Miller (low back strain) is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Sacramento on May 10.

Jake Mangum and Jared Jones, Pirates

Mangum was placed on the 10-day injured list on May 8, retroactive to May 6, with a left hamstring strain.

Jones (internal brace surgery) threw three innings in his second rehab start for Triple-A Indianapolis on May 6.

Ryan Feltner, Rockies

Feltner (right ulnar nerve inflammation) was expected to throw a "full-go" bullpen session on May 8, after he had thrown a lighter bullpen session on May 5. He will face hitters in Pittsburgh early in the week of May 11 before beginning a rehab assignment.

Pete Fairbanks, Marlins

Fairbanks (nerve irritation) threw 13 pitches off a mound on May 6 and was scheduled to throw again on May 8.

Denzel Clarke and Max Muncy, Athletics

Clarke (mid foot bone bruise in right foot) has begun a ground-based running progression and a hitting progression.

Muncy (left hand fifth metacarpal fracture) was still being held out of all baseball activities as of May 6.

Steven Matz, Gavin Lux and Joe Boyle, Rays

Matz has been placed on the 15-day injured list due to left elbow inflammation.

Lux could return as soon as the Rays' May 7-10 series against the Red Sox.

Boyle (right elbow strain) is nearing a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham.

Joe Ryan and Mick Abel, Twins

Ryan threw a bullpen session on May 6 and is expected to make his next start on May 9 in Cleveland after an MRI revealed no structural damage in his right elbow.

A club official confirmed on May 7 that Abel (right elbow inflammation) experienced soreness in the joint after throwing a bullpen session on May 2. He received a cortisone shot in his right triceps and will be re-evaluated when the team returns home from its current road trip.
