Arizona Robotics League est. 2022

The Arizona Robotics League (ARL) was created in 2022 through a joint $40,000 grant from the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Honeywell Aerospace. The initial funding provided an official FIRST Robotics competition playing field, creating additional opportunities for Arizona FIRST Robotics teams to practice, compete, and develop their skills outside of major competitions.

The goal was simple: give students, particularly newer and junior team members, a place to gain valuable experience, build confidence, and develop their robotics skills without the pressure of a major competition. Contact the Arizona Robotics League at arizonarobotcsleague@gmail.com.

ARL FIRST Tech Challenge Grant and Mentorship Program

The Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and Honeywell Aerospace are committed to expanding access to robotics and creating opportunities for students to learn, grow, and succeed. Through the ARL FIRST Tech Challenge Grant and Mentorship Program, eligible schools and organizations can receive a grant to help cover startup costs for a new FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) robotics team, along with a spot in the free ARL FTC division. Each new team will also be paired with a Honeywell Aerospace engineer who will provide guidance and mentorship throughout its robotics journey.
