The Mets and outfielder Michael Conforto host pediatric cancer patients from local hospitals at select games through Conforto Cares. The children are given a tour of Citi Field, the opportunity to take batting practice inside the Mets batting cages and to enjoy lunch with Michael. Each child is given a Conforto Cares t-shirt and a Mets gift bag. The program focuses on bringing awareness to pediatric cancer and the challenges that these children face every day. Michael will host kids at the ballpark as well as visit children and their families at hospitals throughout the New York.
