Harvey says blister on right index finger is fine

PITTSBURGH -- Matt Harvey said Sunday the blister on his right index finger is just fine. The Mets scratched the 24-year-old from his Saturday start.

Harvey threw a bullpen session without incident Friday and was scheduled to throw a 20-pitch "touch and feel" bullpen session on Sunday, manager Terry Collins said.

That means Harvey should be available to start for the National League in Tuesday's All-Star Game at Citi Field, should he be selected to do so. He's 7-2 with a 2.35 ERA and 147 strikeouts this season, the most in the NL.
