Padres agree to terms with 22 players on 2014 contracts
All players on the 40-man roster under contract for 2014 season
PEORIA, AZ - The San Diego Padres today announced that they have agreed to terms with 22 players on contracts for the 2014 season. Executive Vice President/General Manager Josh Byrnes made the announcement.
Agreeing to terms were right-handed pitchers Jesse Hahn, Casey Kelly, Donn Roach, Keyvius Sampson, Burch Smith, Dale Thayer, Nick Vincent and Joe Wieland; left-handed pitchers Robbie Erlin, Juan Oramas, Patrick Schuster and Alex Torres; catchers Yasmani Grandal and Rene Rivera; infielders Yonder Alonso, Alexi Amarista, Jedd Gyorko, Ryan Jackson and Tommy Medica; and outfielders Yeison Asencio, Reymond Fuentes and Rymer Liriano.
With today's announcement, all players on the Padres 40-man roster are now under contract for the 2014 season.
