The Padres return home from their 11th road trip of the season, an 11-day eight-game trip, for their 12th homestand of 2018, featuring games against the Texas Rangers and San Francisco Giants. Action begins tonight with a 7:10 p.m. start against the Rangers.
 
Hispanic Heritage Weekend at Petco Park begins on Friday to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and the independence of various Latin American countries. Friday's elements include:
-Fiesta in the Park presented by Verizon, which includes authentic drink special and complimentary food samples by Del Real Foods at Park at the Park and live entertainment featuring a variety of Spanish music and flamenco dance performances. The fiesta begins at 4:30 p.m.
-Fans can purchase a special Hispanic Heritage Weekend ticket package, which includes a limited-edition Padres-themed Dia de los Muertos bobblehead, available to the first 1,500 fans who purchase the dedicated Hispanic Heritage Weekend theme game package, while supplies last.
-Paola Avila, VP of International Business Affairs for the San Diego Regional Chamber will throw the Ceremonial First Pitch during Friday's pregame ceremonies.

Prior to the game on Friday Clayton Richard will be honored as the Padres' nominee for the 2018 Roberto Clemente Award for his work in representing the game of baseball through sportsmanship, community involvement and positive contributions, both on and off the field.

Hispanic Heritage Weekend wraps up on Sunday as the Padres celebrate Mexican Independence Day with Domingos Padres supported by Del Real Foods. Elements include:
-Kids activities, dance performances, authentic drink specials and complimentary food samples by Del Real Foods pregame in Park at the Park.
-Fans can purchase a special Hispanic Heritage Weekend ticket package, which includes a limited-edition Padres-themed Dia de los Muertos bobblehead, available to the first 1,500 fans who purchase the dedicated Hispanic Heritage Weekend theme game package, while supplies last.

-Colonel Charles B. Dockery, Commanding Officer of MCAS Miramar, will throw Sunday's Ceremonial First Pitch.
-Sergeant Chipp Corderman from the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing of MCAS Miramar will perform God Bless America during the 7th-inning stretch.
-Nine naval aviators from the Navy, Marine Corps and Coast Guard will take the field to greet Padres starters as part of the "Military Take the Field."

-KidsFest presented by Chick-fil-A and supported by Del Real Foods features bounce houses and other inflatables, games, face painters, balloon artists and more kid-friendly activities in Park at the Park beginning at 10:30 a.m.
-From 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., two Padres players will sign autographs at the Park at the Park for Compadres Kids Sunday Signings. A Compadres Kids membership is required to participate. Membership is free, and kids can sign up online here or in-person on the day of the event.
-Following Sunday's game, kids 14 and under are invited to run the bases. Kids and their families can begin lining up following the conclusion of the eighth inning at the top of the ramp leading to the Craft Pier presented by Ballast Point on K Street.
