SAN DIEGO - The San Diego Padres will name the inaugural 2018 Coach of the Year during a pregame ceremony prior to tomorrow's game against the Atlanta Braves at 12:40 p.m. The newly-created Padres Coach of the Week program, presented by FOX Sports San Diego, recognizes one local high school baseball or softball coach each week for 10 weeks for making a positive impact in the lives of their players on and off the field as a coach, mentor and role model. Each Coach of the Week honoree received a $1,000 donation to support his or her program and were featured on episodes of FOX Sports San Diego's Inside San Diego Sports. All 10 coaches will participate in the pregame ceremony, with one being named the 2018 Padres High School Coach of the Year and receiving a $5,000 donation.
