Saturday, March 21

  • Gallagher Square Opens: 2 PM
  • All Gates Open: 4:30 PM
  • Show Time: 6:30 PM

Sunday, March 22

  • Gallagher Square Opens: 10 AM

Get ready for the return of Banana Ball at Petco Park!

VIP BANANA TOURS

Guests can add on to their Banana Ball experience with a newly announced VIP Tour. This pregame experience gives guests insider access into areas of the stadium normally reserved for players, as well as offers a unique look at the fun, energy, and magic that makes every Savannah Bananas game unforgettable. The tour ends with the viral Petco Park banana pudding and first access to merchandise!

VIP Banana Tours are available for each game and a separate ticket is required. Guests must have both a Savannah Bananas game ticket for the same date and a VIP Banana Tour ticket to enter the tour.

BANANA BALL

Based in Savannah, GA, the Savannah Bananas are a professional baseball team and play their home games at Historic Grayson Stadium, but they are taking the show on the road!

What is Banana Ball? Banana Ball is a fast-paced, action-packed style of baseball with rules that include no bunting, a two-hour time limit, fans catching foul balls for outs, batters stealing first base, and a one-on-one tiebreaker showdown at the end of the game if the game is tied.

Savannah Bananas Know Before You Go

We look forward to seeing you at Petco Park for the Savannah Bananas vs. Firefighters on September 5 and 6! Guests are encouraged to arrive early. Pre-Game Plaza (Gallagher Square) opens at 2 PM and Regular Gates at 4:30 PM. Re-entry is not permitted. For an enjoyable event experience, please read the following important information before your arrival.

ENTRY TIMES AND POLICIES

  • Pre-Game Plaza (Gallagher Square) gates open at 2 PM. Entry gates include:
    • Gaslamp Gate located at the intersection of K Street and 7th Avenue.
    • East Village Gate located at the intersection of K Street and 10th Avenue.
    • Balboa Gate located at the intersection of J Street and 9th Avenue.
  • All remaining gates will open at 4:30 PM.
  • No re-entry will be allowed.
  • Factory-sealed plastic bottled water that is still, clear, and unflavored and is one (1) liter or less are permitted into Petco Park. In addition, one (1) liter reusable water bottles (no glass) are permitted and must be empty upon entry into the ballpark.
  • For enhanced ballpark security and to expedite the entry process for all our guests, Petco Park prohibits bags with the exception for single compartment clear plastic bags not exceeding 12" X 6" X 12" and infant and medical bags. Clutches and purses no larger than 5" X 7".

  • Petco Park offers mobile lockers for rent located at the Lexus Premier Lot near the pedestrian bridge across from the Home Plate Gate and on J Street. Lockers are $12 (cashless) and will remain open for 30 minutes after the conclusion of the event.

DIGITAL TICKETING

Seating Bowl, Suites & Hospitality Spaces: Tickets purchased through the Padres Season Ticket Member presale, or tickets for a suite or hospitality space will be accessible via the MLB Ballpark app. View our digital ticketing guide for information on how to access and transfer tickets. In advance of the game, be sure to transfer tickets to everyone in your party so each individual has access to their own ticket.

Savannah Banana Lottery Ticket Holders: Your digital tickets on the Savannah Bananas ticket platform, FansFirst, will be available for downloading to your mobile wallet 72 hours before the first pitch. For the fastest, smoothest entry, please add all tickets to your digital wallet. Log into your ticket account here. GETTING TO PETCO PARK

We are expecting a sold-out crowd for this show and strongly recommend ticket holders arrive early, as well as take advantage of public transportation or rideshare options. Padres parking lots will open at Noon (12 PM) for pre-purchased passes in the Lexus Premier Lot, Padres Parkade, and Tailgate Lot. Day-of parking will be limited and subject to availability. Purchase pre-paid Padres parking below. If you pre-purchase parking, your parking pass will be delivered digitally to your MLB Ballpark app.

Please note: Tailgating is not permitted in the Tailgate Lot for this event.

MERCHANDISE

  • There will be an early merchandise opportunity Thursday, September 4 on Park Blvd from 2–5 PM.
  • On event days, Banana Ball merchandise tents will be located both outside and inside the ballpark. Merchandise stands located on J Street will open at 11 AM. Petco Park is a cashless venue.

PLAZA IN GALLAGHER SQUARE

The Pre-Game Plaza in Gallagher Square offers an unforgettable experience filled with energy, excitement, and entertainment for fans of all ages. From live performances, special appearances from players, cast, mascots, and other surprise guests, it’s a must-see event. There will also be merchandise tents in the pre-game plaza. Fans must have ticket to the game to access the Plaza – no additional purchase required.
