ACTION MATH BASEBALL

presented by Pirates Charities

Action Math Baseball is an integrated math program for students in grades 4-8.

Students learn mathematics skills through baseball statistics in a way that is fun and engaging, and use statistics from current Pirates Players, as well as player cards they create, to compete against one another in simulated baseball games. The curriculum-based program promotes higher order science, technology, engineering and math skills (STEM), suitable for in-school and after-school programs.

The program begins with a teacher training in January and concludes with the Action Math Baseball "World Series" at PNC Park in May. For more information, please contact Pirates Charities at (412) 325-4720.
