Join Pirates Charities, Pirates players and coaches for a November “Friendsgiving” Fundraiser!
Make a donation today to help local families in need! Donations will assist with the purchasing of toys, clothes and outerwear for underserved families and individuals throughout the Pittsburgh area - to ensure local families have a happy holiday season.
The Pirates are partnering with the following nonprofits on this initiative:
Salvation Army of Western Pennsylvania
- The Salvation Army of Western Pennsylvania works to help wherever there is a need in western Pennsylvania through social services that range from providing food for the hungry, temporary housing, holiday assistance and more.
- Urban Impact is a Northside nonprofit whose vision is to see lives holistically transformed in our community one person, one family, and one block at a time by investing in the lives of at-risk children, youth, and their families through programs in Athletics, Performing Arts, Education, and Options (high school mentoring).
Allegheny County Department of Human Services
- The donation will support the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Holiday Project initiative. The campaign provides meaningful holiday gifts to children in families receiving DHS services related to child maltreatment and homelessness.
Light of Life
- Light of Life has been a place where hope and healing meet for men, women, and families experiencing homelessness, poverty, or addiction.
Pirates Charities, the nonprofit arm of the Pirates, has pledged a minimum of $50,000 in matching donation. Every donation will help a local family in need - so join the Pirates players, coaches & Pirates Charities this holiday season.
