COMMUNITY TICKET PROGRAM
REQUEST GUIDELINES
Who is eligible to apply for the Community Ticket program?
Eligible applicants include: non-profit or community organizations looking to attend a Pittsburgh Pirates game, who might not otherwise have the financial resources to attend; youth groups from non-profits, churches and/or schools; public servants and community/civic groups; and residential, assisted/senior living facilities and group homes.
Are these tickets for fundraising purposes?
No. These tickets are meant strictly for organizations who might not otherwise have an opportunity to enjoy Pirates baseball to attend a game together. If you are interested in a donation for a charitable fundraiser, please click here. If you are interested in selling Pirates tickets as a fundraiser, visit our Group Fundraising page.
What if our groups needs ADA accessible tickets?
We are happy to provide ADA accessible seating through this program, but please note accessible/wheelchair seating is very limited. Please only request accessible seating if necessary. While we will work to accommodate your needs, we may not be able to satisfy every request. Once requested, SEATS CANNOT BE EXCHANGED. Please request carefully. Visit here for PNC Park accessibility information.
How are requests processed?
Tickets are issued on a first-come, first-served basis and seating is limited. It is possible that some groups may not be awarded community tickets due to the volume of requests.
How will I know if my application gets approved?
Please allow 2 weeks for application review. Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, you will receive an email confirmation to the address provided. If your group cannot be accommodated, you will be notified via email as well.
Please note:
- Ticket usage is tracked and groups must use at least 80% of the tickets in order to be eligible for consideration in the future.
- Applications must be received one month prior to the game requested to be considered.
- Once tickets are awarded, they cannot be exchanged for a different game.
- In the event that the tickets are lost, they cannot be replaced.
- Tickets awarded through the community ticket program cannot be resold. In the event that any of your tickets are resold, the group will be permanently disqualified from the program.
- If you are interested in requesting tickets for more than one game, you must submit a separate application for each game date you are interested in attending.
