Entered the 2024 season rated by Baseball America as the Marlins' No. 16 prospect...Was invited to participate in his second Major League Spring Training camp (Marlins)...Was the starting catcher and cleanup hitter in the Marlins' inaugural Spring Breakout game vs. STL on 3/15/24...Reached base in a career-high 15 straight games from 7/3-8/10...His 81 games and 700.2 innings behind the plate ranked T4th and sixth, respectively, among all full-season Minor League catchers...Homered in three straight games from for the first time in his professional career from 6/22-6/27.

2023

Spent the entire season at Double-A Pensacola, slashing .258/.302/.472/.773 (118x458) in 115 games. Played as a catcher in 81 games last season and recorded a .994 fielding percentage (five ER/714.2 innings). Recorded a season-high 11-game hitting streak from May 31 to June 14. Batted .386 (17x44) with a 1.067 OPS, along with three doubles, three home runs and 10 RBI during the streak. Hit .301 in the month of June, going 22x73 with four doubles, five home runs and 15 RBI. Batted .268 (66x246) with a .315 OBP at home, compared to .235 (53x226) with a .283 OBP on the road. Began the season as the Marlins No. 26 prospect according to MLB Pipeline.

Drafted by the Marlins in the CBB round (69th overall) in 2018 out of Brookwood High School in Snellville, GA...Played in 24 games with the Gulf Coast Marlins, hitting .256 with eight doubles, a triple and 14 RBI...Played 15 games for Single-A Greensboro, hitting .208 with three home runs and four RBI.
