Coleman McCade Crow...On Twitter: @colemancrow....2023 marks first season as a non-roster invitee to Major League Spring Training....While with Rocket City in 2022, the sound of “crow noises” would play through the speaker system at Toyota Field following his strikeouts in home games....Was not selected to Angels Player Pool for 2020 season....Did not pitch professionally in 2019 after being selected by Angels in 14th round of Draft....Graduate of Pike County HS (Zebulon, Ga.)...Entering 2023, former Angels RHP Hunter Strickland is the only alumni of Pike County HS to play in Majors....Had committed to pitch collegiately at Kennesaw State University before signing with Angels....Originally signed by Angels scout Todd Hogan.

2022

Spent entire season with Double-A Rocket City, where he led Southern League in wins (9), innings pitched (128.0), WHIP (1.31) and winning percentage (.750) and ranked second in strikeouts (128)...The 128.0 innings were second most among all Angels Minor Leaguers, behind only César Valdez (146.1 IP for Salt Lake)... Honored as Southern League Pitcher of the Month for June, after going 3-0 with a 1.33 ERA (27 IP - 4 ER) and 24 strikeouts across four starts for Trash Pandas... Earned Southern League Pitcher of the Week honors three times (May 16-22, June 6-12 & June 20-26)...During a 10 game stretch from May 15 - July 17, allowed two-or-fewer runs in eight of the 10 contests and went 6-0 with a 2.24 ERA (60.1 IP - 15 ER) and 56 strikeouts...Made 19 consecutive starts without being charged with a loss from May 8 - Sept. 11, earning all nine of his wins in that span... Pitched 1.0 perfect inning in relief in only postseason appearance for Trash Pandas in Game 3 of Southern League Division Series vs. Tennessee.
