Full name is Jarren William Duran...Signed by Justin Horowitz (Red Sox)...Hit .294 in three seasons as a 2nd baseman at California State University, Long Beach (2016-18)...Left school ranked 4th in program history with 49 stolen bases...Led the Big West Conference in 2018 with 17 steals in 19 attempts (89.5%)...Also as a junior, led LBSU in hits (67) and runs (42)...Earned Second Team All-Big West honors in 2017...Graduated in 2015 from Cypress High School.

2020

Entering his 4th professional season, his 2nd in Major League Spring Training camp...Following the 2020 season, played in 23 games (regular season and postseason) for Caguas in the Puerto Rican Winter League, batting .250 with a .392 OBP and 8 steals (20-for-80, 22 R, 17 RBI, 17 BB)…Named MVP of the championship series, helping Caguas win the title. Also was named a Caribbean Series All-Star after helping lead Puerto Rico to the title game...Played in seven games and went 10-for-25 (.400) with a .500 OBP, seven runs scored, three steals and three XBH.

2019
