Graduated from Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School (Fla.)...Won back-to-back state titles as a junior and senior...Became the 16th player from his high school to be drafted...Named Gatorade Florida Player of the Year and Florida Mr. Baseball as a senior...Named 7-A Player of the Year by the Sun Sentinel as a sophomore and senior...Was committed to the University of Mississippi before his selection in the draft...Participated in the Red Sox Rookie Development Program in January 2025...The program included two workouts daily, seminars focused on assimilation into Major League life on and off the field, an RBI clinic with the Red Sox Foundation and a visit to Boston Children’s Hospital...Attended Fenway Fest in January 2025 and 2026, signing autographs and posing for pictures with fans.

2025

Began the season with Triple-A Worcester and slashed .288/.423/.491/.914 with nine doubles, two triples, 10 HR, 45 runs and 29 RBI in 58 games...Was selected to the active Major League roster on 6/9 and made his debut that night vs. TB (0-for-4, RBI, BB). Batted .128 (6-for-47) in his first 16 career games, through 6/17, then batted .329 (69-for-210) with a .420 OBP and .930 OPS in his next 55 games until being placed on the 10-Day IL with a left oblique strain on 9/3... Missed the Sox’ final 22 games...Ranked fifth in MLB in average exit velocity (94.5 MPH, min. 100 batted ball events)...Started as the leadoff hitter in 27 games, batting .340 (36-for-106) with 26 runs scored, six HR, 17 RBI, a .437 OBP and 1.003 OPS in those games...The Red Sox went 17-10 in those games...Also batted second (13 starts), third (21), fourth (1) and fifth (4). 27 of his 75 hits (36.0%) were XBH, and 42 of his 75 hits (56.0%) had an exit velocity of at least 100.0 MPH. Named AL Rookie of the Month for August.

2024

In 119 games between Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester, hit .291 with a .396 OBP, .498 SLG, and .894 OPS (132-for-454, 32 2B, 4 3B, 18 HR)...Tabbed a Baseball America First-Team All-Star and named to the All-MiLB Prospect Team First Team...Named an Eastern League All-Star after leading the league in SLG (.489) and OPS (.856)...Won the Futures Skills Showcase at the All-Star Futures Game; was selected as an inactive reserve for the game...Among BOS Minor Leaguers, ranked T-first in doubles, second in hits, runs (93), XBH (54) and total bases (226), third in walks (79), and T-fifth in HR...Named Portland’s MVP after leading the team in HR (15), SLG, OPS, BB (tied, 48), XBH (38) and total bases (158)...Made his Triple-A debut on 8/11; from that date through the end of the season, led the International League in OBP (.463), walks (31) and runs scored (33).

Named Red Sox Minor League Offensive Player of the Year, a South Atlantic League Post-Season All-Star, and a Baseball America Minor League All-Star and High Class A All-Star...Hit .278 (108-for-397) with 27 2B, four 3B, 14 HR and an .869 OPS in 106 games with Single-A Salem, High-A Greenville, and Double-A Portland...Made 68 starts in CF, 18 in RF, one in LF and 19 at DH.

2022

Split his professional debut between the Rookie-level FCL Red Sox and Single-A Salem...Hit .306 (22-for-72) with four 2B and 12 RBI in 20 games...Made 10 starts in CF, four in LF and two in RF...Hit safely in nine of his 10 games with the FCL Red Sox, batting .429 (15-for-35) with a .961 OPS.
